A single thought, a simple action or even a single simple sentence could make all the difference.
Between life or death
Between a good day or a bad day
Even between a tear of joy or a tear of pain.
A simple 'hello, have a good day' to that girl who wears long sleeves even in the summer. You don't know it but she gets a beating every night.
A smile and a friendly voice to that man behind the counter, he's always wearing a glare and his words are short and clip. You might not have heard but a drunk driver just claimed his wife and kid's life.
We all have our problems, our battles, we hid them from the world and for what?
No one would understand? But that's not true, your not the only one.
Who would listen? Lots of people, but it can be hard to talk to those people because we do not want to seem weak, we grow up hearing that it could be worse and that someone somewhere else has it worst, but that doesn't mean our feelings, our problems aren't valid but we hid them none the less as best as we can.
