Chapter 2. Explainations

Ty's Pov

"Wait!" Adam yelled from his window . I turned around slowly.

"Can I come with you?" I stared at him suprised. Why would he want to leave his perfect life here?

"Why?" I asked. I already had broken A few of my new rules so why not break just a little more.

"My life isn't as perfect as you think it is. There is much I want to do that this life will never allow. I would explain but the sun is rising. We haven't much time to talk if we are going to make it to the mountains by night." He says. Why not. He seems so lonely. Maybe he just needs a friend.

"Grab your things. You can come." I say. He nods and comes back with a packed bag slung across his shoulder.

Sky's Pov

I jumped off the ledge of my window as Ty catches me so I dont fall.

"Thanks. Lets get moving." I say as he puts me down . We run for a long time. I take an occasional look at ty. He was really cute. But We are on a mission to get where he's going. which I still don't know. The sun starts to set just as we reach the base of the mountain.

"Hey ty, Why are you going to the mountains anyway?" He looks at me and sighs.

"I-.My parents are abusive. They hate me. They always have. for the past 10 years they've been beating me with bats just because Im Bi. They never wanted a faggot son. But I've finally gotton fed up. Being treated horribly by those who were supposed to love me makes me angry. I just-." He breaks out into tears. I scoot closer and just hold him and cooing him.

"Shhhhhh. I understand. All you want is freedom. I know. So do I. We'll get through this. together." I told him. This boy has had it horrible most of his life. I just want to help him. Maybe even love him. He looks up at me, Confusion clear in his eyes.

"Why do you care?" He asked.

"I just like the feeling of knowing Im not the only person with horrible, oblivious parents. Who have no real kindness in their hearts. My parents have isolated me from the world all my life. No one even knew I existed unless my parents told them. I was neant to be kept a secret. A secret to be sold., They were going to sell me to some cult today until I saw you. if I hadn't, I would have been dead right now." I said shedding some tears. I couldn't believe I was telling a complete stranger my story but I am.

He looked up at me. I knew he understood me and my story. We hugged for a long time until the night set.

"Lets get going. We've got a way to go up on this mountain." I said.

"Okay, Let's go." He said, smiling.

And I could tell that this was his first genuine smile in a long time.
