Chapter 5 A great journey..a little heart break.

Ty's Pov

Well I.........No. I will never allow myself to think of love. All it brings is darkness and pain right . I just wanted someone to love me but how is pain something like love? I look over at Adam. He reminds me of the sky. always reaching new heights, out of the dark. I wish I could be like him. Right now we are trudging up to a new cliff. He's working so hard to get us up there. I always have a warm smile on my face.

"Hey! Wait up!" A girl with pink and blue hair said just as adam's eyes met mine.

"Who are you?" Adam said looking away from me and at the girl.

"I'm Dawn Mason. I just got lost after my village burned. Who are you?" She asked. The girl is really pretty I must admit.

But she could never match up to adam.

"Im Adam. these are my friends Ty, Mitch, and Jerome. We are running to freedom aswell. You want to come?" He said. My heart broke to pieces as he looked at her with fondness in his eyes. I could already tell he has a crush on her. She nodded her head and smiled warmly at him.

"Let's get going. It won't be long till the sun rises." Jerome said, Seeing my heart broken expression. I nodded appreciatively at him. He seemed to decipher my feelings from just looking at my face.

I started to climb in the front of Adam and Dawn as they seemed to get lost in each others eyes. I fake smiled warmly when Adam looked up at me. Then turned back to climbing. We had finally reached another cliff to sleep in for the night. It was quite cold but I could manage. Adam made sure the girl was okay before laying down next to me.

I turned the other way and ignored his eyes burning into my back.

"Ty?" He whispered.

"What?" I mumbled.

"Can I sleep with you tonight? It's quite cold."

" Its Fine."

He nodded as he scooted closer to me so our shoulder were touching. Then he wrapped his arms around my waist as he slept. I looked at him curiously as he snuggled his head into the crook of my neck. I brush it off as I go into a deep sleep.

Its been three years since the escape. Everyone broke off their separate ways. Mitch and Jerome are Married in Hawaii. Adam and Dawn are dating. Ty lost contact with them a year ago after they announced they were dating.

I walked into a old coffee shop to to get a latte as I was alone again.

" 1 mocha latte with extra whip cream." I said. I had thought back to the day I had confessed my love to adam. He laughed in my face.

* Fake Flashback in a Dream cuz I can*

"Adam I.....Love..... You." I said as we stood on the rooftop of my old apartment.

" Hahaha. You, Me? Dawn won't believe this one. Good joke Buddy. Good joke." He said dieng of laughter. I pretented to laugh with him, like I had just not confessed a real, undying love for him.

After that I bought a new apartment across the country. I changed my number, My well everything.

*End of flashback*

I almost teared up at the thought.

"That will be 3.25." The man said at the cash register. I handed him his money as I went to sit down in a booth. My coffee was steaming so I let it cool as the music blasted in my ears.
