Chapter 7

*Author P.O.V*

*Next Day*

"I made you breakfast. My mom made this for me when I was sick and it always helped me get better quicker." Harry said as he knocked on Niall's bedroom door softly.

The blonde hybrid was sick when he woke up and Harry stopped by to make sure he was alright. Once he found out that Niall was sick, he sent him to bed and made him breakfast. It was a nice bowel of oatmeal with different kinds of fruit cut up in it. A toast with jam was sat next to it since the whole thing was on a plate. Harry really couldn't help it. He had a soft spot for sick or disabled people. He honestly didn't care who they were as long as he helped them. He opened the door when he heard a raspy yeah. He came over to the bed and sat the plate down on Niall's lap. He made sure that the fan was on and that the duvets were tucked tightly. He then went to go close the curtains knowing that Niall would be annoyed by it later on. Harry then remembered that he had to call Niall's job. He took out his phone and asked Niall for his boss' number, which he gave in a raspy voice. Harry told him, once he picked up, that Niall might not be in tomorrow for work.

"You really don't have to do all of this for me Harry. I can take care of things honestly." Niall said before sneezing quietly and it sounded really cute to Harry.

"I help my mom at her daycare which is kind of like my job. What I'm trying to say is I can get a lot of free time when I want so I decided to spend it with you." Harry said with a shrug.

"That's nice of you." Niall said before he started to eat his food slowly and carefully.

By the time he was finished, he was tired. He gave his finished plate and bowel to Harry and watched him leave the room with it. He laid down in his bed and closed his eyes with a yawn. His ears twitched hearing the water run in the kitchen and the plate and bowel clunk together. He even heard Harry humming a little tune. He didn't have a problem with it because he could easily block it out. Just as he was about to fall into a deep sleep, he heard his plastic cups hit the floor. He got out of the bed and went downstairs with a cough. He walked in the kitchen seeing Harry trying to quietly pick up the cups. He jumped when he saw Niall standing there with a slight grin on his face. He blushed in embarrassment while standing up. He couldn't believe that he made a fool of himself like that. He put all the cups back while having a little bit of help from Niall. He turned off the sink then turned back to Niall, who let out a long yawn.

"I'm a terrible caretaker." Harry said while lightly smacking his forehead causing Niall to let out a laugh.

"Honestly you're not. My dad was though." Niall said which kind of made Harry feel just a little bit better about himself.

"Can I ask you a question?" Harry asked while leaning against one of the counters with his arms crossed over his chest."You don't have to answer it if it makes you feel uncomfortable or anything."

Niall watched as Lou grabbed a skinny metal rod and a small hammer. He sat them down next to the tray that was sitting by the operation table Niall was strapped on. He grabbed some white gloves and slid them on his hands with a grunt. He then cut on the light above Niall's head then shooed Ed to go do something else. The assistant quickly left making sure to close the door as Niall tried to talk but his swollen tongue stopped him from doing so. He closed his eyes hearing Lou grab the objects from before. He didn't want to see what part of his body he was going to damage. He suddenly snapped his eyes opened when the rod was placed up his nose and gabbed a part of his brain. It instantly caused him to get dizzy for a bit before his eyes focused again. He lifted his head up a bit but let it fall back on the table feeling incredibly weak.

"This baby right here will erase all your past memories and I'll create new ones for you." Lou said with a chuckle as Niall whined."You'll help the world fall to my feet."

"I will never help you." Niall said before Lou slammed the rob into Niall's brain making him pass out.

"You stupid little hybrid. You have no say in anything here." Lou said patting Niall's cheek roughly before getting back to work.

"What do you see when you space out?" Harry asked causing Niall to rub his eyes and look around the kitchen a bit."Its just when you come back from it you seem horrified or sad."

"I'm just gaining back memories that I don't necessarily want back." Niall said before coughing a bit then filled him a cup of water.

"I still can't believe someone like you went through something like that." Harry said while shaking his head then clenched his jaw."I swear to god if I run into one of those guys they will go to jail instantly."

"I have a question for you Harry." Niall said then took a sip of his water before leaning against the sink while tapping his foot on the floor."Why do you care?"

"Excuse me." Harry said with a raised eyebrow not really understanding the question that Niall was asking him.

"Why do you even care for me? You literally just met me like two days ago. You may or may not see it but I'm very dangerous to be around. You could have been called the CIA or something and have me thrown away or even killed me yourself." Niall said then finished off his water.

"I've always been a sucker for helping people no matter who they are. Plus I can see that deep down your normal and a great person to hang out with even if you're sick or a cat hybrid." Harry said as Niall cleaned his cup and put it back where it belonged.

"Does this say normal to you?" Niall asked glaring at Harry with his eyes going slit like and turning red as his fangs and sharp nails sprang free.

"Absolutely." Harry said proudly and with a nod, which made Niall look at him completely stun.

The tension between them is driving me absolutely wild. I know it may not seem like a lot to you guys but to me it is. Like every time they talk all I hear is "I like you." Nothing else. I just want them to date already. But I know that I must be very patient with this story.
