a girl woke up to an alarm of society
calling her to post, to chat, to live
to show her true self
because that's what they wanted to see
they wanted the real her.
once they received what they asked for
they began to change her
for what they thought was for the better
but it taught her that she was the worst.
now society's expectations are what tell us how to act and when we are supposed to.
but we all don't listen which causes that to reflect on us.
