We are driving home from the lab. I'm humming to the song on the radio. My mom turns it down and starts to talk.

"So what did they do in the lab?" I fiddle with my fingers as she asks the question.

"Some sort of trance thing. It took your mind and sent it somewhere. Like a dream but you were awake." She has her eyes on the road.

"Do you know what for?" She ask. I can tell she is worried. It's in her body language. She is sitting tall, she never does.

"The Daughter of the sun. Something like that. It's who the prophecy is based on." I finish. I see her glance my way observing my face. She only looks at me for a brief second before her eyes are glued to the road again.

We turn onto the street that leads to our house. When we get close enough to our house, we see a crowd of people standing infront of Wills house. My mom stops the car not to disturb them. We see police cars. I unbuckle as fast as I can and open my car door. I stand there for a second on my toes to see if I can see Will. It's too dark to see anything. What happened? I ask myself. I decide to go check it out. I run for the group of people. I push through not using the manners I was taught. By the time I'm at the front, three police men are standing blocking everyone.

"What's going on?"I ask the more kinder looking police. He looks at me then back at the ground.

"Sorry miss, that it classified information."

"Has it got something to do with Will?" I raise an eyebrow wanting to know the answer. He looks at me but doesn't respond. "Please, I was with him 3 hours ago!!" I say a little louder so the other police could hear. They all come over.

"Do we have a problem?" A tall bald police officer asks. He looks stern.

"Yes, I have a problem with police these days. You're hiding news that could be valuable. And on top of that, you don't act very nice." I finish smiling.

"Well we don't like snarky girls." The one said.

"Well I don't like not knowing about Will. I was with him!" I spat. I'm so done with people these days. Two police man grab a hold of me and drag me into his house. They have a tight grip on my arm. It will probably be bruised tomorrow. Once we get into his house. They throw me into a chair. It's surrounded by Wills family. Only a mom and a dad.

"We think we found the culprit." One of the police says.

"Now now." I say. "Don't points finger. I was WITH Will. I had to leave." I say. I look at his parents. Then have no idea who I am. "I'm sorry, I'll introduce myself. I'm Aria Peterson. Your neighbour. We went for a walk."

"Nice to meet you." His mother says dryly.

"Could I have a moment with them." I ask the police.

"No."

"Now, if she wants to talk to us, she can!" His father spat. "I'm James." He says putting out a hand to shake it. I take it. The police shuffle out of the room. Once they are gone, I start to speak.

"I..i..know." I mumble. "I know about the curse." I say finally. There eyes widen. "Will told me. The rocks of elements. The curse rock. And the curse of love. He can't choose who he loves. That also means you two didn't choose who you loved." They look at each other. Will's father grabs his mother hands.

"He told you then?" She asks, shanking. I feel bad for her, knowing her son might die. I look deep in her eyes.

"He had gold eyes, he had to explain it." I say politely. She looks terrified.

"He had gold eyes?" His father whisper.

"Yes, that's a part of the curse, right?" I ask moving my eyes from one parent to the other not knowing who was going to talk.
