Fairytale or Nightmare

"Care to join me, Kate?", I hear from behind my ear. As I turn back, it happens for me to internally groan.

It's Penny.

As usual she's with her pussiest cat. "I'm going to that new movie, which you'd been waiting to watch." She proceeds rubbing the fur of cat.

I frown, internally.
'No, thanks, I'm on a movie detox.' I reply instantly.
'A movie detox?'
'Yes. You know what? I suggest you do it too.'
'Katy, how dare you...?'

And she left.

Why does she hate me so much? Why do I hate her so much?

I keep frowning. I'm irritated by the song which is playing in the café.

Just then a waitress comes to me, "Would you like something to drink?" she says in the worst french accent ever.

"Yup, a strawberry milkshake ,please." I say with a fake smile.

"Oh, why say please, I'll be right back with one." She's still in her french accent, but even more horrible. She left.

I start to ponder.

The wind is moaning. The leaves of the trees are rustling badly. I hear a loud voice. The pitch seems to be increasing.

Only that I realise that the voice is calling, "Katy, Katy."

I look around. I feel embarrassed, I don't know why!!!
I feel as if something bad is gonna happen.

Now the voice sounds a bit familiar. I can hear it louder and louder and louder now. I instantly hide under the table.

From underneath the table I can see the waitress coming towards my table. Every step she's taking, I can hear huge thuds.

Finally, she's right next to my chair. I hear she has put my milkshake on the table.

Again I realise.........,"Katy, Katy!"

Who's calling me???

Now the voice seems even more familiar.

"KATY, KATY! OH MY GOSH!"
Now I feel my adrenaline rush through my spine... or what could be a better way to express my fear.

I cover my face.
"KATY, KATY, O KATY!!!"
"KATY, WILL YOU WAKE UP OR NOT???"

Just that I realised I was zooming about in my beauty sleep.

"IT WAS A DREAM?"
