Aaaaaaand here it is! The third chapter of this story! Enjoy folks!

"YOU?" We both shrieked at the same time. I was beyond surprised, I couldn't believe that this was the 'distant cousin' that Wendy had been talking about.

"What the absolute hell are you doing here?" Alec asked, breaking into my thoughts.

"You know, I could say the same for you," I retorted, glaring straight into his blue eyes through my blue ones.

He looked stricken for a moment, as if trying to process the piece of information that I was his roommate for the next four years.

Then his confused expression morphed into a smug one and he smirked, raking his eyes over my body. Pervert.

Realizing that I was standing in front of my roommate with only my towel covering me, I picked up my clothes and rushed into the bathroom, a red blush painting my cheeks. Stupid darned blush!

After changing, I stepped out of the bathroom and began tidying up, but I still couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that out of all the twenty three cousins Wendy had, it just had to be Alec. Just my amazing luck to thank.

I mean, I was not afraid of Alec, but this boy carried a whole forest of trouble with him. But I decided to go with what Wendy had said, and didn't worry about it.

At the moment, Alec had just shoved his bags on his bed, and gone out "for a tour" as I recall. His bags consisted of three whole suitcases, one backpack, and a huge multitude of plastic bags. God knows what he was carrying in them. When curiosity got the best of me, I went over to his bed and opened one of the plastic bags.

When I saw what was inside, I almost died of laughter. You wouldn't believe me if I told you what I found in there, because it was not everyday that you caught bad boys hauling in stacks of nutella and kit kats in their new apartments.

Yes, nutella and kit kats!

I had never, ever seen a guy have such an unhealthy obsession with the sweet goodies. Heck, he was the first person who even bought so many.

Well, I guess those are the perks of being rich.

But then, a thought crossed my mind. If he was rich, why did he need to split the rent with a roommate? He would obviously have no trouble in renting out a whole big apartment all for himself. I made a mental note of asking him about it later on.

Since I was very hungry, I texted Dustin asking him if he wanted to grab a bite. He instantly replied and told me he'd meet me outside.

After dinner, I stumbled back into my room and got ready for bed. It had been a really tiring day and I wanted nothing more than to just lie down on my bed. Still, I forced myself somehow to brush my teeth and change my clothes.

Alec had still not returned. I couldn't care less though. So I just headed to bed. The moment my head hit the pillow, I drifted off into dreamland.

************

The loud banging of a door was what woke me up from my wonderful dream. Urgh! I absolutely, totally, utterly, positively hated it when anyone woke me up from my sleep.

Sleep was something that I loved the most apart from mixed fruit jam and nutella, of course.

My phone on the night stand showed that it was around one thirty in the morning. I growled, irritated at being disturbed from my sleep. Most people in my place would have been afraid of the noise thinking that it was a burglar or something.
