Lyndsey is your average sixteen-year-old emo. She has to move from London to New York and is struggling to adjust to the New Yorker life style. From being late to school to forgetting how to get home, Lyndsey just doesn't think New York is for her a...
Lyndsey's P.O.V I look at what is now my room with cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling. I honestly didn't know I owned so much shit.
I open the box with my band posters and anime posters. I take the one of Andy, my bother, the lead singer of Black Veil Brides, out of the box and hold it up to the light. Now you may be wondering why we were so poor back in London and that would be because they weren't a very big band and most of the money went out on new equipment, bills, university study pay and other stuff too. I myself was the lead singer of a band, PVRIS, but again we weren't a very big band and neither of us were particularly famous.
(I know they are but shush it's a story XD, also you may want to know about a change in the description and instead of the guy's name being 'Kellin Black' It's 'Kellin Quinn' so don't get confused XD)
I hung up my poster of Sleeping With Sirens above my bed looking at the lead singer in the picture, god it must be good to be in a famous band, but maybe it's not as well. The lead singer, 'Kellin Black' sung under an alias because he was still in high school but he'd said he would release his real name once he completed university.

After hanging up my posters and sorting out my clothes I walk downstairs and look for Andy.
"Oi, Andy, where are you?" I call turning into what I think might be the living room.
"In the study!" I hear him call from up the hall.
"Where the hell is that?" I mutter lowly walking up the hall, knocking on the door that's shut.
"Come in," he says from inside the room.
"Andy, I need to do some work," I say pushing open the door and leaning against the frame.
"Yeah, okay. Let me finish off my work and then you can use the computer."
"Thanks." I murmur inaudibly as I sit and watch Andy's skilled fingers dance along the keyboard.
"All done!" He exclaims a few minutes later.
"Cool, thanks," I say getting up and moving towards the chair that sits in front of the computer.
"If you need any help then let me know," Andy replies before leaving and closing the door behind him.
I sigh and begin to type up my interview for a sixth form a few blocks away. Once I'm finished I begin to watch YouTube out of boredom. I walk down the hall and re-enter my bedroom, looking out the window at the young kids playing in the fresh snow that must have fallen while I was in the study. I smile to myself as I watch them muck about having a snowball fight. I remember me and Andy having fun in the snow when we were little. I look away and sit on my bed as I look through some boxes for a book to read. I see one that seems to make an appeal to me, I seem to have a thing for Si-Fi books at the moment. The book's called 'The 100' I open it at the first page and begin to read until Mum calls me for dinner, which much like the last few was silent and awkward, I lay on my bed reading until I saw it was half past two in the morning. Shit! I've got school tomorrow! I think to myself as I turn out the light and put the book down. I turn over and fall asleep.
Time skip to morning
I wake up to the sound of my alarm screaming bloody murder. I turn it off and drag myself out of bed, performing my normal morning routine, shower, dry, brush and straighten hair, brush teeth, wash face, put on makeup, check school supply's, pack lunch, leave. As I walk down the streets which are covered with a fresh layer of snow. I get lost at least twice and have to, rather embarrassingly, as for directions. I get to the school eventually though.

"Lyndsey?" My name is called on the register. I can barely get over how different I sound compared to everyone else here. I never knew that the English and American accents could be so different.
"Here," I reply quietly I had been seated next to a girl named Rosie, she seemed nice enough I guess. Once the register was over they all had to introduce themselves to me, I wasn't really listening but I thought it best that I at least pick up their names.
Rosie, Kellin, Vic/Victor, Ash/Ashley, Jinx, Jake, Adam, Jess, Lily, Leah and other people who I didn't listen too. They all sit back down and I have to introduce myself to them. I stand up shaking a little due to my anxiety but began to speak.
"My name's Lyndsey but you can just call me Lynn. I'm originally from London and I'm a singer in a band named PVRIS." I say seating myself quickly and pulling on my sleeves as I almost try and disappear into the wall.
"Nice to meet you, Lynn," The teacher states as she tells the class to open their books on the correct page.

"Hey, Lyndsey is it?" I hear a voice call from behind me as I walk towards my locker.
"Yes?" I say turning to see who called me.
"I'm Kellin from your history class I wanted to talk to you-" He's cut off by a group of fangirls calling out to him.
"Oh shit, can I talk to you after school by your locker?" He asks. I nod my head before he bolts down the corridor muttering 'Excuse me' and 'Get out the way!' as he runs away from the group of fangirls, which by now have stopped calling him and are now fast approaching me. I shrug it off and continue to walk until they catch up to me.
"Don't ever talk to him again, slut!" One of them screeches at me. I tilt my head to the side and slap her hard across the face.
"Considering you don't know anything about me and the fact he just ran away from you I'd say you've got no right to be calling me a 'slut'," I cockily reply to her before I turn and continue down the hallway. Another one of them pulls my arm forcing me to let go of my books as I attempt to swing my other fist at her, only for it to be caught by one of the other girls.
"Do you think you're all that?" One says as she pulls on my hair. "Looks like you need to be taught who's in charge around here," one says her mouth forming a lopsided smile.
"Try me," I say yanking my wrist free of her grip as I grab my books and flee. I turn to see them chasing me. "If you can catch me I'm all yours!" I call throwing my books at their feet causing them to trip, I'll go back for them later.
"After her!" One yells, by now more people have joined the chase, but I'm pretty sure they don't know they're chasing a free runner until I reach a dead end. Using the momentum I built I jump landing my left foot on the wall pushing myself over so my right collides with the other wall I then turn mid-air and do this for a good quarter of the corridor before I land back on the floor on one knee and one fist on the floor.
"Don't think you rule the world girls, what goes around comes back around in time," I say smirking as I walk the rest of the way down the school back to my books. People applaud me as I return, someone from the side yells. "How did you escape without a scratch on you?" I turn and smile. "Being a free runner has its uses," I reply as I pick up my books and continue on to my locker.

I head back towards my locker after school hours to see the boy from earlier leaning against my locker. Kellin I think he said his name was.
"Ah, Lynn, I was begging to think you weren't going to show," He says looking up and smiling. I smile back as we begin to walk down the corridor and out the main school gates.
