Back at home, around the table sat Elijah, Renee, and her two boys, Sam, and Skelton. Sam was twelve, and Skelton was seventeen. Skelton had known Julia was depressed. Multiple times had he walked in on her smoking, cutting, and purging. She had convinced her stepbrother that her father was aware and giving her treatment. He kept her secret, unaware of the lies, and danger.
There was a constant nagging at his tummy. Would it be any good to say anything now? She’s already locked up… He decided to keep his mouth shut.
