Escaping From Reality

A knock on the door broke my thoughts and everything faded away.

"Cornelia..I'm Phillip " he whispered. I jumped off my spot and ran quickly towards the door to open up for him. I unlocked the door and quickly pulled him in and locked the door again behind him. He lit up a candle and I saw a book in his hands. A huge dusty book.

"What's that? " I asked, pointing at the book and my eyes filled with curiosity.

"This? I found it in your castle's library .." He said, handing me the book.

"What is it about?" I asked as I opened the first page and blew off the dust.

"Curses...and spells especially for cursed people from the waterfall" he continued "Each spell is written and what it does, I can help you. ONLY ONE SPELL IS FORBIDDEN! NEVER BRING A PERSON BACK TO LIFE !! CLEAR?!"

"Okay" I said, looking up the book then I whispered to my self , hoping he hadn't heard me "I was planning to do that"

"Did you say something?" He said, as he raised an eyebrow.

"No " I smiled.

"Don't use this spell, I'm serious " he said.

"Okay okay I won't " I answered.

"Okay now, I'll leave an-" he started.

"But you just got here " I cried.

"Well you need to practise your powers , read the book carefully and I'll be back tomorrow" he said.

"NO" I cried as I clung to his arm."stay"

"I can't " he said as he hugged me "I don't want to either but I have to"

"Why? I'll be careful and I won't hurt you I promise "

"I know " he said, gently."bye " he let go of me and he walked towards the door, but he hesitated, I thought he would turn and stay but he didn't. He left.

"Okay" I sigh "let's see what in that book"

I opened the first page just to see a note written.

"Note: do not use the forbidden spell or the whole world would be cursed! "

I read and thought "forbidden spell? What is it? Is it bringing a person to life?"

I turned the page and blew off the dust and started to read...

"Spell one: making things ..

Ball your hands and say the name of the thing you want to make ..
If that thing didn't appear then try to say 'please' "

"What?"I laughed "please?"
I wanted to try it so I balled my hands, closed my eyes and said    " a bed", I opened my eyes and nothing was there "..please?" I smiled and then the bed appeared. "Really?" I thought as I laughed.
I continued to read...

"Spell two: fly ..

Stand straight, close your eyes , don't think of anything except that you are a bird and say "fly like a bird"

"A bird? Oh my God this book is so amusing " I laughed."okay I'll try it"

I stood straight, closed my eyes -just as said- ,thinking that I'm a pretty little bird -as said- and I said "fly like a bird" I opened my eyes just to see that I was hanging in the air. "Waow" I screamed and I fell down.

"This book is terrible " I said to myself.

I held the book I continued reading..

"Spell three: disappear ..

Say " gedrysnian"
You or the thing/person you want to disappear will disappear"

"Gedr-what ? No I want those easy spells back" I thought.

I read it again "gedrysnian"

"I'll try to make it easier ..ged-ry-sn-ian " I said. "Yeah much easier "
I said the word and I felt no change but I saw everything around me so vivid like a canvas covering my eyes.

"A mirror , please" I said as I balled my hands. A mirror appeared hanged on the wall. I look at it and ..I'm not there "great "I said. "Wait! How am I going to appear back?" I thought. I ran to the book and read..

"Spell four: appear ..

Say " atiwan" "

"Oh God!" I said " atiwan " I said and I saw myself again in the mirror.

Words and spells became more complicated. Never thought it would be like this!
