Episode 4 // part 3

While walking back, of course after Wook asked where Soo was, and she came out of hiding and surprised everyone, So and i were walking at the back while Wook walks all the way in front with Soo trying to catch up to him and asking if he was angry.

"So!...So! Are you perhaps jealous?" I couldn't take it anymore that he hasn't spoke to me at all.

He just looked at me and turned away. Ah.. he's definitely jealous then. But of what ? Me hugging Jung ? Aish, that must be it.

As i was pondering on what to do while looking in front. I saw Soo flopping onto the ground as she was pretending to be injured and holding onto her leg. Wook rushes to her, grabs her and held her close. Oh! I then turned to grab So's hand and pulled him off to somewhere, i didn't really know where i was heading to but all i knew was to give Soo and Wook space.

We walked around looking for some place that we can sit down and rest, i noticed that while i was holding onto his hand, So seems to have a tight but gentle grip on my hand.

We then came across the piles of fallen stones that So had wrecked last time. I stopped to see how he will react. He took small steps ahead, pulling me along instead  now. He then bent down and start to pick up the stones and stack them up again after letting go off my hand. I helped in as well with a smile on my face.

After we were done, we went to sit down somewhere nearby and he finally seemed to want to talk to me. But what he said led me to have mixed feelings.

"I'll be leaving this house and going to live in the palace tomorrow"

I was happy that he finally got the life he deserved, the royalty and all but i couldn't deny that i feel sad that he was leaving. Taking a deep sigh, i turned to him and told him "Please lead a happier and quieter life in the palace. Don't threaten to kill people so often. Don't glare at them when they don't want to listen to you. Lastly, don't take out your sword that often over nothing. Also, sleep well and eat your meals properly too."

That's right, i can't be selfish.

He looks to me with a slightly shocked expression then decides to lighten the mood up a little and says kiddingly,"Man you sure nag a lot when you want to"

I gave a forced chuckle, which i suppose was too obvious was fake, seeing how he immediately turn to me with concern and a tinge of sadness in his eyes.

Just then, it started snowing. I put out my hand to try and catch one of them and stares at the sky. "It's so pretty".

So surprisingly replied saying,"yeah, she is pretty".

She?

I turned to look at him to only find out that he was already looking at me. He was referring... to me? He then wraps his arm around my waist and pulled me closer and starts to lean in slowly.

Wait? What?

I felt all my senses coming to a stop when his lips touched with mine, not really knowing and caring what i was doing at this point, i leaned in and kissed back. Wrapping my arms around his neck, both his arms encircled around my waist even tighter and pulling me even closer. It seemed to last forever until the both of us pulled back but with both our foreheads resting against each other's.

"I have a confession to make before i leave tomorrow. I am not going to deny that you affect me a lot and i've finally come to terms that i indeed have feelings for you. How could i not when you easily knocked down the walls i built and made me feel warmth and happiness like i've never felt before. Especially after seeing you hug Jung, the amount of jealousy i had was laughable. However, seeing as to how i'm going to the palace tomorrow, can i make one selfish request? For you to wait for me, to wait for the right time, when i have enough power, for me to officially court you and make you mine so no one can ever take you away. Will you accept and wait? "

It took me a while to process his confession and after thinking through, i gave him a nod and said "Yes, i will"

He then gave me such a heart melting smile that almost made me weak to my knees. Later on, we shared kisses and just leaned on each other with his arm around me while we both remained seated and watched the snow.
