I woke up to the sun shining through my fuzzy sleep mask. Slipping it off the top of my head, I stood out of bed and glanced at the mirror. My long, blonde hair was completely
tangled from my new pillow . No wonder it was so hard to get my sleep mask off.., I thought, grabbing my brush as quick as I could from my dresser. Today was a Saturday, one of the only days where I could relax, read, and catch up on Social Media. To be honest with you though, I only had one form of media... Instagram. My mom didn't approve of any other apps, especially Snapchat, because she hated the idea of a picture disappearing in 10 seconds.  It's not like I ever took any pictures I shouldn't have. I was way smarter that. Especially after my best friend Rachel's ex boyfriend showed uncensored  pictures of her to the entire 11th grade. But I was in 12th now, and I had only one more year before I was able to do whatever I wanted.
For what seemed like hours, I debated whether or not to read on the sofa by my window, or to take a bubble bath. Thinking about it now, it sounds really dumb. Anyways, I decided to do both at the time, by grabbing a book and starting the bath tub. The book was about romance, my favorite genre. For the whole seventeen year I've lived, but once have I not thought love didn't last forever. Sure, I had had several (and I mean several), boyfriends, but it wasn't exactly the same. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm not even sure it was even love. More like a fling, to be honest. But I knew, that one day when I met the man of the dreams, our love would last forever.
