Chapter 19

~ At the Park ~

"Gianna, this is Cameron Dallas, Taylor Caniff, and Matt Espinosa!  Guys, this is Gianna Smith, her and her mother moved in a little while ago!"

"Hello, its very nice to meet you guys!"  I say

"Its nice to meet you to!"  They say.  After the introduction, we decided we'd play lady hunt!  You know,

Man Hunt, but in day light.

Lady Hunt!

"Ok, who wants to be team captain with me?"

"MEEE!"  Hayes practically shouted.

"Ok Hayes, you choose first."

"I choose Gianna!"

Yay!

About 5 minutes later, we have the teams settled.

Hayes Team:  Me, Taylor, Cameron

Nashes Team: Brent, Matt

They are  uneven, but we have to work with it.

"Ok, my team counts first, Hayes' teams, you hide first!  You have to stay within the playground boundaries!  Now let's go go go!"  Nash yells.

"Hayes!  The swirlie slide!"  I say

"Yess!  They'll never find us in THERE!"  Notice the emphasis on there.

"G, they'll find us in seconds."

"Well, I'm hiding in there!"  I say.

"Ok, but you'll be out first!"

~ 10 minutes into hiding ~

Guess who was wrong?

Hayes!

They all all ready got caught, and I didn't!  Guess they suspected that no one would be in here.

Well they are wrong!

I can hear Nashes team at the entrance of the swirlie slide.

~ in whispers ~

"Guys!  We can't find her!  Should we look behind the trees again?"  Nash says

"Yeah, I'll go with you Nash, Matt, stay here just in case!"  Brent says

"Ok, I'll be here!"  Matt says

Uh-oh

I feel a sneeze coming on! 

"Aaaaaaaachooooooo!" 

I sneeze, which causes me to slide down the swirlie slide.

"1 2 3 LADY HUNT!"  Matt says

"That was a loud sneeze to."  He remarks

"Thank you, I try."  I say, not amuzed.

Why does this always happen to me?  I always see him where ever I go.

"Matt!  I need you to hide me from that kid over there!"  I say, in a low whisper.

"Please keep me away from Tony!"  I say

Matt can see the fear in my eyes.

"Ok, um, lets go back by the trees, where everyone else is."

"Ok"  I say.  I'm really scared.  What happenes if he see's me?  What will he do?  Will he try to hurt me?  Stop G, you have 6 boys to guard you, strong boys, at that.

When we get back by the tree's only Hayes, Cameron, and Taylor were there.

I run up to Hayes and give him a hug

"Tony's here!  He cant see me!  Then he'll follow me and then he'll hurt me again!"  I say, starting to tear up.

"It's ok G, your safe with us."  Hayes says, calming me down.

I feel safe in his arms.

"Awwww!"  Cameron Taylor and Matt say.

"Hahaha so funny guys."  I say

"Where's Nash and Brent?"  I ask

"Oh, they went out to find you."  Taylor says

I have to admit, Taylor's pretty cute, but Hayes is the guy for me.

All the sudden I hear my phone go off.

It was that kid I met in Walmart!  Bryan, I think!

~ In the text conversation ~

Bryan- Hey! 

Gianna- Hi

B- want to hang out today?  To get to know eachother better?

G- I'm sorry I can't, maybe another day!  As friends!

B- Oh, I was thinking after a while we could be more than friends;)

G- I have a boyfriend.

On that note, I put my phone away, and didn't see Hayes in sight.

"Hey, where's Hayes?"

"Oh, while you were on your phone he started walking home, you can still sorta see him."

"I have to go, sorry."  I say.

Once I get to where they can't see me, I spirnt to Hayes.  I can still sorta see him.

After a while I catch up.

"Hayes?"  I ask

"What do you want?"

"What's going on?  Why did you leave?  Did I do something wrong?"

"I don't want to talk about it, ok?"

"No, not ok!  Was it because I was texting that guy from Walmart?  I stopped the conversation becaue he wanted us to go out together.   You can't get so mad."  I say, tears escaping my eyes.

Before he can say anything, he grabs me and throws be over his shoulder and starts running.

"Hayes Grier, put me down!"

"Tony and his friends are running after us."

"Put me down, they're not gonna catch up to us that quick!"

On that note, he put me down, and we started running.

"Are they still chasing us?"

"Yes"  Hayes responds

When we finally reach the house, we have a good enough distance to open the front door and not have to go around back.

I slam the door shut once we get in.  A wave of relief flow over me.

"Thank you Hayes."  I say

"Anything for my girlfriend"  He says, with a smile on his face.

"Do you know what's coming up G?"

"What?"

"Our 1 month anniversary, it's Sunday."  He says, smiling that beautiful smile of his.

"I can't wait!  I respond, then he gives me a quick kiss and goes off to his room.

I head off to the kitchen.

I can't wait till Sunday.
