Save Me From Myself

last day

The next morning I woke up feeling happy. That is until I realized that I was so caught up with Austin I forgot my flight was on Christmas day. I shot up out of bed and got ready. It was barely 6 so no one was awake. I decided to cook breakfast for us three. I found the waffle maker and tried a couple that failed miserably. Then I got the hang of it. I had to stop myself because I almost made too much. I put bacon in the oven so it could cook at once. Then I started making omelettes. It might of been a little much, but I just wanted to make them a nice meal. I heard them getting up as I was setting the table. I put down glasses of orange juice and mugs for hot chocolate and coffee. Austin came in the dining room with a big smile on his face. "Good morning my beautiful" he came up to me and kissed my forehead. Then he noticed the set up of the table.

A: I was wondering why it smelled so good!

I smiled as I noticed Michele heading towards us.

Me: Merry Christmas! Well Eve that is!

M: Merry Christmas Eve, and oo what's this?

Me: it's a special breakfast you know since I leave tomorrow, I wanted to make today special

A: uh don't remind me

Me: sorry b- Austin

I was going to say babe, but I wasn't sure if he told Michele about us. Would he even tell her? Yeah, ofcourse,  I mean she approved of us dating before we actually were.

M: Well atleast you'll get to spend Christmas with your family

Me: yeah that's fantastic and all, but I rather be here in Miami

Later we all sat around in the living room and thought it'd be a good idea to open a couple gifts, since it was my last night there. We each had two in our possession. I bought them each one. I waited for Michele to open hers first. I got her a nice dark scarf with a bracelet, that I knew she would like because just about all mothers liked them. Then I opened mine from her which ended up being a giftcard and a black beanie.

Me: Thank you very much, I love it

Austin opened his and it was new PS3 games and a limited edition controller.  I tried my best, and wasn't sure on what exactly to get him, but it's the thought that counts right? He wanted me to open his gift to me, now. I open the slim, long box. I thought it was going to be a watch, but it was even better. It was a necklace. It had a music note insde an Infiniti sign.

Me: I absolutely love this, it's perfect!

I got up and kissed him on his cheek, then went to hug Michele.

M: well I'm off to bed now, wake me up in the morning, I want to take you to your flight Julianna

Me: Yes, of course, goodnight and thank you again

She smiled and left to her bedroom.

After I heard her door shut Austin picked me up and lead me to his room.

A: Since it's your last night you can steal my room for one more night

I giggled as he laid back next to me. Turning to face him I put ny hand on his face.

Me: how are you even real?

A: what do you mean?

Me: You're so just, like, well, so amazing, like how can a human be so perfect.

He smiled cheesily.

A: I could ask you the same thing

I shook my head then leaned into kiss him. He kissed me and we cuddled. We didn't do anything too intimate because I wanted to cherish times like this. I would miss his touch soon so I had to take in the moment. My eyes felt low then I suddenly was out.

I woke up surprisingly still in his arms. Which I thought was impossible since I do tend to toss and turn in my sleep. Well no wonder why I slept so well.

I checked my phone and it was already almost 8. I had to get up and double check if I packed everything. Then I had to wake up Michele and Austin and ugh I just wanted to lay in his arms a little longer.

I slowly spun around and kissed Austins nose.

Me: wake up sleepyhead

Austin groaned " No it can't be the morning, already." I got up, "Well unfortunately it is, but MERRY CHRISTMAS". I had almost forgotten .

Me: You should go wake up yo mommy before you know.. it's time to go.

Austin shot me a mad look. Then he got up and threw a shirt on. Meanwhile I changed into my leggings and hoodie. I made sure everything was packed.

Soon enough, we put my bag in the car and we headed towards the airport. When we arrived I dragged my feet out of the car. It was finally hitting me that I would soon be back home and not with my boyfriend. I went around to hug Michele goodbye.

Me: I hope you guys liked your gifts, but just thank you both for the amazing stay, I can't wait till next time

I walked to Austin and I felt my eyes water. Ofcourse I was gonna miss him, but there was a part of me that worried when the next time would be. Whatif he gets to busy, we talk less, and feelings aren't the same? I tried to clear my thoughts when Austin wrapped his arms around me. We slowly kissed, but not too much since his mom was right there.

A: I think I'm going to miss your kisses the most, or maybe your perfect smile.

I smiled, but I couldn't stop a tear from streaming down my cheek. I quickly wiped it, even though we both knew he saw.

Me: I'm going to miss everything about you Austin Carter Mahone.

He loosened his grip and I headed in the other direction. . .

Goodbyes were the worst, which is why we didn't dare say those words.
