Pokémon: The Fusion War

Chapter 3: Fusion Resistance

Alex's POV

I woke up, a thought I'd never think would happen. In fact, i never thought I would wake up not in the Haunted Castle. I was being tended by a Kirlia. A Special Kirlia, she was pure out pink and white.

She looked at me and smiled "Oh your awake that's good, I know you might be confused where you are so allow me to introduce myself" she eagerly said. "I am Miette, I'm a fusion of a Kirlia and my friend who is a Audino." She smiled giddily. I smiled slightly and looked around. There was 10 other Pokémon in this base. One I recognized as the one that saved me and my friends. At the time I didn't know it was a Pokémon but turns out it is.
Miette continued to tend my burns as I looked to see my friends. They were in a terrible state! The two were having trouble breathing mostly Layla, after all burns are worse on her being 4x worse. I'm only lucky because I'm fused with Scar who's dragon type. After a couple of minutes Miette let me go explore and meet the other fused  Pokémon. The one who rescued me turned out to be a fusion of a Altaria and the legendary Pokémon herself Reshiram. She looked at me with a small smile and walked up to me.

"Thanks for saving me and my friends" I thanked her. She nodded

"It's ok, I'm just glad to make it in time to save you, My name is Reina at least half of me is, Reina the Reshiram." She seemed so calm and nice. After a brief pause she continued to talk. "Your friends will wake up soon, in the meantime try and make new friends with the people here." I nodded and decided to walk to someone else. Their was a Typloshion looking Pokémon. It looked different though. I decided to talk to him first.

"Hey...." I asked shyly. He looked at me and smiled. "Sup, so I'm guessing your new here?" I nodded. He continued to explain. "Well this is the Fusion Resistance base, each Pokémon here wants to have our bodies separated again, fusion may make you more powerful but it almost gets rid of stuff such as abilities typings and other stuff, it's also unhelpful for the Pokémon you fused with as they have no control of your body except your brain, plus if two Pokémon fuse they make the population less and you can't breed during a fusion so the population will decrease" I nodded understandingly. The explanation was long but it was worth the time I guess. I decided to talk to another Pokémon in the base.  I went to a group of 3. They looked at me for a second.

"Oh your one those 3 Pokémon Reina rescued yesterday!" A flying blue dragon like Pokémon said. He seemed another fusion.
"My name is Aries I'm a Salamance that got fused with a Haxorus" my jaw dropped, those two dragons are some of the coolest looking ones, then again I'm fused with a hydreigon so I shouldn't complain, right? The next one that talked to me was a gardevoir with roses for hands. She seemed nice.

"Hi I'm Scarlet" she giggled as she spoke. "I was fused with a Roserade which I'd say makes me more elegant" she dusted off her dress and and shook my hand. The Pokémon next to her then joined in the conversation.

"So.. ur new here huh? Well nice to see you I'm Midnight the Luxray, I was fused with a Mega Absol" he said looking at me. I nodded and held my hand for a hand shake. He stared at my hand for a second and shook his head "I don't do hand shakes." His voice seems more serious then the rest of the people here. Miette suddenly walked up to the 4 of us.

"Alex, if you want, I can show you where your room is, is getting late and I suggest you get some sleep" she smiled. I nodded and followed her. The room was just a bed a lamp a shelf and basically your typical hotel room. I laid on the bed and fell asleep. Today was a nice day I guess.
