You've Got The Glow

Chapter 8

Hey guys!

I'm going to try to update two Times a week since my chapters aren't very long.

After Kathrine left I sat alone waiting for Jake to return with my mom.

I can't believe what she did. I mean to be fair I did say something back to her but in my defense she started it all. I guess I just wasn't expecting her to be a major bitch.

"How to you do it?" a voice says breaking me out of my trance.

I look to the right of the room, but I see nobody there.  I continue to look around my face growing red with embarrassment. ''Haha, I'm behind you."

I turn around to see Edgar staring down a me.

"You almost gave me a heart attack, I say putting my hand over my heart."

"How do I do what exactly? "

"How do you look at Katherine without wanting to rip her eyes out."

My eyes grow two times the size that the normally are in amusement and shock.

"What do you mean."

"Oh don't you try to play insistent with me he says grinning. I saw the whole thing. "

"Oh my gosh,  please to tell Jake!  I didn't mean to it just that-"

"Calm down girl. I'm not going to tell Jake, we all feel the same exact way about Kathrine except for Jake of course. "

"Oh" I say in shock. "Well I guess it's because Jake saved my life and he was there when I need a friend so I will do whatever it takes to make him happy.

"What do you mean when you say he saved your life?"

Realizing what I just said I quickly place my head in my hands in embarrassment.

We sit I silence for about a minute before Edgar speaks up.

"You don't have to tell me anything now or ever I mean we did just meet, but if you ever need anyone to talk to don't  hesitate to call me, I'll be there."

As soon as those words left his  I felt as if a heavy wheight had been lifted of my chest. I don't know what it was about Edgar, I know I just met him but I can feel a great friendship brewing.

"Thank you ."

He begins to lean in for a hug. I wrap my arms around his neck and buried my face into his shoulder.

"You smell good." I say

Edgar pulls back slowly, with a grin on his face.

"You look good" he say smirking.

I look at the ground so he won't see the huge blush he had cause to appear on my face.

Suddenly I hear someone clear there throat.

I quickly jump up , I look over to the door to see my mom standing there. No scratch that.  My mom and Jake.
