You've Got The Glow

Chapter 9

Hey guys here is another mini chapter.  Beware that this is unedited!

"So I see you have already met Edgar, " Jake says.

"Uhh yeah, he is really nice to me! " I say trying to make this situation less awkward.

Is that right Jake says giving Edgar a look that was almost like a warning look.

There is a small silence, before my mom cuts in. "Well, we better get going Ady you have work in like fifteen minutes so we need to get a move on."

I quickly say my goodbyes to Edgar and Jake before existing the room. Why did Jake look so mad when I hugged edgar? We just met, and The Jake Miller could never like me. Could he? Maybe he doesn't want his contestants having a relationship with his team. Whoa, hold up Adysen relationship? You Must be going crazy. First you're talking to yourself and then you think that Edgar would like you haha! You must be mad.

"So..What was that?"

"I have no idea, ..please help me mommy"

I rarely call my mother 'mommy' any more unless I need help, which in this case I needed desperately.

"I don't know what to Say sweetie, I mean it feels like two days ago you were

a little girl dancing around and singing  in your diappers"

"Now you're all grown up becoming famous and having boy troubles. I really don't know." She says honestly. I nod in understanding and turn away to look out the window.

The rest of the car ride was a silent, since Adrian had left earlier to go see her 'boyfriend' or friend that's a boy, I'm not really sure what they are. When we get home I go straight to my room to get ready for work and my meeting with Jake. Luckily my job allows us to wear anything so I won't look like a total freak infront of Jake. Ha, who would have thought that  I'd be on first name bases with Jake Miller, It's still so unbelievable. I sit down on my laptop to check my Twitter and other social networking stuff since I haven't in about a week or so. First I log onto Twitter to see about five thousand new followers, and and many tweets.

A smile quickly begins to spread across my face. It's only been a few days and people are starting to notice me. I read through some of the tweets.

@Adysennn is amazing omg @Jake Miller she needs to win.

I read through many more tweets like that making me so happy, but of course like always that does not last ling at all.

@Adysennn what type of name is that. I be your only in this for fame a money.

There were so many negative tweets that is over powered all of the positive ones. I shut the laptop and besides to head of to work since it was 7:30 and I was supposed to meet Jake there in and hour. This should be fun. When I arrive the diner it is already eight. I go inside hoping that Jake was not there yet. I look around the tables to see a familiar snap back from earlier that I once saw of the head of Jake Miller. "Jake?"

"Oh hey Ady !" he say while standing up. I feel his arms wrap around my  and pull me in for a hug.  I felt a big spark as soon as our skin mad contact. Sound to good to be true right? Well it is. I slowly wrap my arm around his neck returning the friendly hug. Because that's all it was a FRIENDLY hug. Right?

Well that's it until tomorrow!
