UNEDITED

It was six in the morning. I stretched my arms an looked around to only remind myself that I wasn't home. I was on the yacht with Oliver. Memories appeared in my mind from last night and ended as soon as I shook my head to wake myself up. I looked to my right to catch Oliver already awake, staring at me this whole time. I blinked and stared back into his eyes, and as I did a grin was plastered on his face.

''Stalker'' I mumbled and rubbed my eyes then yawned.

''Well I'm sorry I can't help but look at my beautiful girlfriend'' he replied to my comment and stroked my cheek every so gently with his thumb. Oliver leaned in to plant a kiss on my chin, instead he ended up kissing my lips, deeper after each kiss, with his arms around my waist.

After having a what lasted like a forever make-out session, we had a quick breakfast, got dressed and Oliver drove me back to my house.

We sat in the car in silence for a while, just hearing the keys turn and the engine going quiet, with birds humming and the wind whistling a summer tune.

I looked at him and smiled. To my surprise he was already looking at me and smiled back.

''Thanks for yesterday, it was truly fantastic'' I said and held his hand.

He interlocked our fingers, slowly rising my hand to his lips and kissed it every so softly; not taking his eyes off of me. ''There's nothing to thank for, I'll do anything for my sunshine''

I took my bag and opened the car door and shut it behind me. I walked to the front door backwards, looking at Oliver all the way and waving, and just before he drove away he blew me a kiss.

Jeremy stood in the enterance, arms crossed and  eyes on me. ''Gemma Scott, where were you the whole darn night?!'' he exclaimed and shook me by my shoulders.

I looked up at him and responded. ''On a yacht''

''Oh okay'' he said as he let go and was about to walk off when he stared at me with surprise written all over his face. ''Yacht?! Where the heck did you get a yacht from? Gemma, did you turn to the dark side and started to steal!? Oh my god, next thing you know you'll be praying to satan to steal your soul'' he blabbered and walked around in circles, saying all the possibilities that came into his mind.

I grabbed him by his shoulders and punched his arm playfully ''Relax! It's Oliver's friend, he let oliver use it while he's out of town'' I told him

''Oh'' he said quietly. ''So no dark side and satan?'' he asked to make sure

I nodded and patted his head as I made my way upstairs to my room.

With the black blinds down, the room looked cold and eerie- almost comforting in an insanely weird way. I threw my bag on my bed and walked towards the window to pull up the blinds, but a ring that was coming from my bag interrupted me. I searched for my phone in my bag and when I finally found it I saw it was Matt. Without thinking about answering the call I decided to put my phone down and ignore it. I slipped ot of my clothes and made my way to the bathroom to take my mind off reality.

As the cold water particles exploded against my body, I felt as if I was in a trance; hypnotised by the water droplets. My mind travelled back to that day on the field with Matt. My heart ached from the thought of breaking my best friend's heart. I felt heartless and dead. But what else could I have done? Better to tell the truth even if it'll kill than to lie and be left with a dirty mouth.

Minutes after walking out of the shower I heard my phone ring again.

Matt.

I stared at my phone, waiting for a sign to help me to answer or not to answer. Then I hesitated and pressed the answer button.
