Alfie's POV
I don't know if can do this anymore.
I'm scared.
That I would lose my moral support, my mum.
My dad called me last night to tell me that my mum has had collapsed and has gone to the hospital.
What if something bad happens to my mum?
I quickly looked through my social media to catch up on everything in life.
I stood and stared at the window.There was no clouds to be seen in the sky and the sky was a clear blue.
Wish it was the same as my emotions though...
I walked into the kitchen to prepare lunch for myself.Luckily,I was home alone.Zoe took out Nala out for a walk and wouldn't be back for a while.
I sat on the table with my salad,with a double portion of chicken,as always.
I put my head on the table and I started crying
But I couldn't stop.
Zoe's POV
I'm worried.
Alfie has barely talked to me today.He has never acted like that is.
Something is wrong,I know it.
I slowly walked behind Nala as she led the way back to the house.
I hope he is okay.
I unlocked the door and walked in the hallway.
I shouted, "Alfie?You here?".No response..
I continued to the kitchen and saw Alfie with his head,crying.
Alfie looked at me,"Zo?". He jumped out of his seat and hugged me.
I looked at him, worried," Alfie,what's wrong?Did something happen to you?".
He stared at me,"my dad phoned me last night to tell me that my mum has collapsed and gone to hospital.I'm so scared Zo.What if something bad happened to her?".
I gave him a reassuring look,"Awh,Alf!She is going to be okay. Your mother is a fighter,she'll get through this."
Alfie cried into my arms.We sat there for a while until we decided to go for a stroll around our local park.
His mum will get through this,I know she will
