'"I'll find out your story soon enough Scar." he whispered in my ear, his soft lips grazing my ear lobe. 

My back felt uncomfortable against the hard table edge that was digging into me because of Cole pinning me on the table, caging me in his arms with his body touching mine like a feather. Suddenly, he thrust his body against mine and I felt him everywhere as he kissed down my neck. I yelped in surprised though it came out as more of a gasp verging on a moan. I had missed the feeling of being out-going, talking to a boy, flirting, making friends and being stupid whilst having mad fun. But that's not why I came here. He can't find out my story because then I'd be in danger. The gold digging witch is on the look for me, and right now I can't trust anyone.

She leaves New York for a small town in Colorado, which is the polar opposite of her birth city.

She starts a normal life with the money she has and puts up a wall in college with the intention of only wanting to get through college so that she can get on her feet.

But that plan crumbles when she meets Cole Irons. A bad boy battling his own demons.
