The next day, Christie told Bethany all about the night before as they sat around waiting for class to start.

Then what?! Then what?! Don't stop now! What did you sat after that?!" Christie smiled as she looked at her feet and blushed.

"I said yes and we kissed." She said softly. For a second, all was quiet. Then, Bethany let out a shriek that made the whole school jump.

"EEEK!!!" She shrieked. Everyone in the room jumped as some of the students fell out of their chairs. Even Christie was startled as her eyes popped open.

"Chris! Do you realize what this means?! You finally have a boyfriend!" Bethany squealed as she shook Christie's shoulders. Christie's face turned bright red.

B...Boyfriend?!"

"Of course! He told you he loves you and wants to be with you forever and you feel the same way about him! That makes him your boyfriend and you his girlfriend!" Christie lowered her head as her face was as red as red could get.

"I guess, I hadn't really thought about it that way." Bethany was so excited, she didn't even care that she was making a scene.

"Oh my gosh! This is great! I can hardly believe it!" She squealed.

"Man babe, take it easy! You're giving everyone heart attacks." RJ stated as he walked into the room. Benjiro was right behind him.

"We were able to hear you scream from the other side of the hall. What was it that caused such an uproar?" He asked looking at Christie. Christie slowly lifted her head still blushing.

"Chris was just telling me the most romantic story about her and Matt. They got to share their first kiss last night!" Bethany squealed. RJ and Benjiro gasped. Christie's head shot up.

"Beth! Not so loud! Everyone will hear you!" It was too late for that. Several of the curious classmates huddled around her desk.

"No way! Christie?! You kissed someone?!" Christie's shoulders tensed up.

"I didn't even know you were seeing someone!"

"Who was it?! Was it that guy that came with you to the dance?!"

"Come on! Don't keep it a secret! Spill the beans!" Her excited classmates all tried to push her for the scoop. Christie's face turned red as she just froze.

"Oh man! How embarrassing!" She said to herself.

"Come on, Chris. Don't be so shy. Go on and say it." Bethany urged from behind. Christie rubbed her hands together.

"H...his name is Matt. I...met him at the amusement park a few weeks ago." She finally managed to say.

Matt huh? Was he the guy you danced with at the Romeo and Juliet dance?" One of her classmates asked. Christie blushed as she nodded her head.

"Wow! A real Romeo and Juliet story coming to life! How romantic!" The girls squealed.

"I'm so jealous! I wish that would happen to me!"

"Yeah right. You have those kind of moments with your boyfriend everyday."

"No kidding. You two are practically joined at the hip."

"What?! No we're not! We just started going out last week! We haven't moved that far ahead yet!" The boys rolled their eyes.

"Man, is that all girls ever think about? All that mussy stuff makes me want to gag."

"Huh? Why do you say that? I thought you had a girlfriend?"

"No I don't! Who told you that?!"

"I heard someone say you walked home with that girl from the volleyball team everyday last week."
