Natalia's P.O.V.

Today is the day I move into my new house with my siblings. You may be wondering where our parents are. Well, our mother had to go to a mental health center after my father's death.

I don't really like to talk about it. But, i'll tell you more about it later.

But anyways we moved to New York because my sister, Alaina, got a scholarship to NYU and she's all we've got. She's 21 & pretty much my "mother   figure" and I also have a little brother his name is Mekhi and he's 13.

Oh, sorry to be rude my name is Natalia Aiko-Gomez. I'm 17 and I'm a Senior. I only have two best friends, Baijah & Tyla. They live back in Atlanta but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Anyways, like I said today is the day I move into our new house. As soon as we pulled up the first things I saw was a gate, a long driveway, tall trees, and a medieval/islander looking house on a small hill.

I was completely stunned and had no clue what to say. But the first thing I did do was run up to look at my already decorated room.

I went up these modern looking short set spiral stair case up to my room and might I say I was speechless.

"Oh my! Yo, Alaina this is beautiful!"

" I thought you would love it!"

Mekhi, my short yet athletic/hyperactive little brother ran in.

"Alaina my room looks wet as hell !"

"Watch your mouth mijo" I said as he rolled his almond shaped grey eyes.

" Now you two can explore the rest of the house then go to bed cause y'all first day is tomorrow"

When she said that for some reason my heart dropped

"I thought I was gonna start next Monday."

"I tried but the school board said once your officially signed up you must come in immediately." she said rubbing my back.

'Lovely' I said to myself.

Me and Mekhi explored the rest of the house then we went in our rooms unpacked and ate our McDonalds
Alaina got us then took our baths and hit the hay sack.

Still Natalia's P.O.V

I woke up to Drunk In Love by Beyonce playing as my alarm went off. I rolled out of bed as my feet was met with the cold wooden floors as I cringed.

I went into my pink and white polka dot bathroom and took a hot shower. I did all my girly necessities then attempted to tame my mane. I eventually gave up and just let it be a fluffy, curly mane.

When I went downstairs Alaina and Mekhi were already eating breakfast.

"Ready for your first day?" Alaina asked.

"Nope" I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey now, don't bring that ghetto attitude up in that school!"

"Yea, yea I wont ." I said biting my nails, a habit I have to get out of.

"Now you two get in the car"

I grabbed a French granola bar and headed into the car.

We took Mekhi to his school first. But he didn't get out.

"Aren't you gonna.. Ya know hop out the mf Porsche." My lame ass said.

"Yea now gone ahead luh boy" Alaina said.
