I wish every other class was slow but 6th. But, Jacob sits opposite of the class as me. I call for a break. We get a five minute break if we need it. I step out the class. I hear footsteps. I pray that it isn't him. A hand touches my shoulder. I jump and turn around. It's Jacob of course. Just my luck.
"Please Jacob. Stay away." I beg.
He chuckles.
"Touch me and I'll scream loud." I say stepping away from him. He doesn't care. He slaps me hard. Tears brim my eyes. I prepare to scream but Jacob kicks me to the ground.
"Tell anyone, it'll get worse." He says walking off. I dry my eyes. I sit against the wall and collect myself. I stand up and walk back into class. I finish class trying not to bawl my eyes out. I finish next hour and meet up with the buttercream squad at the park. Conor places a kiss on the cheek that Jacob slapped. I flinch in pain.
"Are you okay, love?" He asks.
"Yeah, sorry. Just a little jumpy." I say.
"Okay." He says. We talk for a little at the park.
"I have to head home and study." I say getting up.
"Want me to help?" Conor asks.
"No it's okay." I say.
"You sure you're okay?" He asks.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say. I kiss him bye and say bye to everyone else. My parents and Marcus are luckily not home. I run to my room and shut my windows and door. I cry and start having a asthma attack. I use my inhaler and just cry. I try calming myself down. I pace the floor while crying hard. My face hurts and so does my leg. I take an Advil to help with the pain. I calm down and clean my make up off my face and reapply it. I study for my history class and do all my homework.
I get a text from Conor
C- just wanted to check on you
S- yeah I'm good. Thx
C- want me to bring you anything
S- no I'm good
C- okay

Zoe calls me to her house for a video. She says bring Conor. I knock on Conor's window. He opens it and pulls me into a hug. He kisses me and I kiss back.
"We have to goto Zoe's and film." I say.
"Alright let's go. I'll drive." He says.
"Okay." I say. We say bye to his parents and Jack and Anna. We get into Conor's car and drive to Zoe's and Joe's. We are greeted by smiling faces. I hug Zoe, Joe and Alfie. We set up for filming and record.
"Hey guy and welcome back. Today Sam and I are baking. Now, our lovely boyfriends will be judging out of ten. Sam will you please explain what we are baking?" Zoe asks.
"Sure Zoe. We are baking a birthday cake for Conor since his birthday is tomorrow!" I say. We clap. We lost the ingredients and get started. Zoe and I end up having a flour fight. We bake the cake and decorate. It says "Happy 18th Conor!" With music noted on it. It's Chocolate with birthday cake flavored icing. We give it to the boys.
"10 out of 10 for sure!" Alfie says.
"Yeah same. 10 out a 10. " Conor says.
"Awesome. Thank you for watching and thank you for coming Sam." Zoe says.
"Of course." I say.
"I will see you guys next week. Love you lots!" Zoe says ending the video. We clean up and talk for a little.
"Zoe can you come here?" I ask.
"Yeah sure." She says. We walk into Zoe's room.
"I don't know what to get Conor. He hasn't told me what he wants yet." I say.
"Well come on. Let's go to the mall." She says. We say bye to the boys and goto the mall. I pick out some adidas pants, football jerseys and other things.
"Oh my god. I have the perfect gift." I say. We walk into the Apple Store.
"He's been needing a new Mac Book. " I say.
"That's perfect then." Zoe says. We talk to an employee and buy a $2000 lap top for Conor.
"I feel like he would want one more thing?" Zoe asks. I point at Victoria's Secret.
"Oooo girl!!!!" Zoe says.
"That would be hilarious. " I say.
"Come on, let's do it!!!" Zoe says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah!" She says. We go into Victoria's Secret and ask what would be the best gift for Conor. We pick out a matching black underwear and bra.
"He will love this." Zoe says.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yes of course. You know, it would be a perfect early gift." Zoe says winking.
"Tonight?" I ask.
"Yes it's perfect." Zoe says.
"Okay." I say.
