~Chapter 1~

(Y/n)'s POV

"You'll do great sweetheart" my Mom says trying to encourage me, I smile and nod my head

"Yeah, I'm just really nervous, what if Simon says I suck, I don't wanna be embarrassed in front of thousands of people" I say taking shaky breaths, my Dad chuckles

"That won't happen, you know why?"

"Why?" I ask smirking

"Cause you've got the X factor" I laugh and shake my head,

"Thanks Dad" suddenly Dermot walks over to me,

"Are you (Y/n)?" He asks smiling

"I am" I answer causing him to chuckle,

"Great you're on in two ok" Dermot hands me a mic and pats my back softly

"Don't be nervous, deep breaths" I nod and do as he instructed, I take deep breaths which calms me down a bit

"Ok you're on" my eyes widen as Dermot gestures to the stage, I timidly walk to the centre of the stage hearing the crowd clap and cheer, I could already feel the sweat coming on, I stand on the X and face the judges

"Hello" Simon says

"Hi" I answer shyly gripping the mic tightly causing sweat to build up,

"And what's your name?" Simon asks

"(Y/n) (l/n)"

"Ok and what are you gonna sing for us (Y/n)?"

"Armor by Landon Austin"

"Ok then off you go" I take a deep breath and nod my head signalling that I'm ready, (play song from above now)

I'm not bullet proof when it comes to you

I open my eyes to see everyone standing up clapping and cheering even all the judges, I smile as I feel tears well up in my eyes, everyone calms down and the judges sit back down,

"(Y/n) that was absolutely amazing, you have such an amazing voice and you have real potential to win this" Louis says I smile

"Thank you" I say feeling the tears running down my face, joyful ones though

"I completely agree with Louis, I think you're going places" Nicole says making me smile

"Thanks you" the it was Simons turn to speak

"Well as those two said, you're talented, you've got potential, and you really blew me away (Y/n)" he says smiling, I giggle and wipe away my tears nodding

"Ok so let's take a vote, Louis?" Simon asks

"I really like you (Y/n) so I'm gonna say yes" I smile tears steaming down my face

"T-thank you" I manage to say

"Nicole?"

"It's a yes from me" oh my god two yes's I can't believe it, I look at Simon and wait for his answer....................

"Congratulations (Y/n) you've got three yes's" I cover my mouth in surprise as everyone cheers and claps

"Thank you, thank you so much" I say and run back stage seeing my parents cheering for me, I smile and run into they're arms

"I told you you'd do great sweetheart" my Mom says with joyful tears in her eyes,

"Come on kiddo lets go celebrate!" My Dad shouts I laugh, then a boy with brown hair and bright blue eyes smiles at me while he walks past, I blush slightly and smile back, I look over my shoulder and see he's on next......

I hope he gets through......
