Iwaizumi felt terribly lonely. Everything was quiet. Without Oikawa, his loud fangirls were quiet. There was nobody shouting 'Iwa-chan,'. He turned to face Kenma who was busy tapping the buttons on his PS3. The rest of the team sat in heavy silence. The team were not performing terribly but without Oikawa, they were not playing at their best. Kenma was not a bad setter and used other techniques to win the game but he was too quiet.

Oikawa stared at Bokuto who was once again in his "emo mode". The team could not manage his constant mood swings and somehow Komi, Konoha and Sarukui had managed to calm hhim down but soon he was once again in his emo mode. The team had decided that none of Bokuto's spikes would be blocked but half way through Bokuto had forgotten how to spike cut-shots and he was becoming upset. Oikawa was stressed out. Most of the practices involved him and Bokuto and he had to manage most of Bokuto's mood swings.

"Oikawa," he said lifting his hand and dramatically facing it towards Oikawa, "Don't toss to me anymore!"

"Who do I toss to then?" Oikawa exclaimed, "We're the only to staying to practice!"

"It doesn't matter!" Bokuto said, "I'd just drag the team down if I played!"

Oikawa felt tears forming in his eyes out of frustration. What was wrong with this owl-boy?

"One more time, Powl!" he exclaimed desperately.

Bokuto turned when hearing the owl joke.

"Okay, then, Owlkawa!" Bokuto said and Oikawa felt relieved. Owl-puns could be the solution to his constant mood swings.

Akaashi wanted to fall to the floor and just sleep. He had been practicing with Ushijima for most of the night. Ushijima had told him that he could leave if he was tired but Akaashi was proud and said he was not tired yet even though he was exhausted.

"Ten laps!" the coach shouted as the rest of the team began to jog and Ushijima – sprint. Tendou Satori jogged up beside Akaashi.

"How was practicing all night with Wakatoshi-kun?" he asked.

Akaashi thought to himself. Tiring. Exhausting. Painful.

"It was great practice," Akaashi simply replied, "Bokuto practices extra a lot as well,". Tendou Satori frowned then smiled,

"I'm not sure you'd say the same after two weeks of it,"

Akaashi wanted to cry. Two weeks of extra practice all night with Ushijima. At least Bokuto rested for a while and talked a lot but Ushijima remained in silence. All Akaashi could to was smile in frustration. Tendou Satori could easily read his tiredness and frustration and smirked as he went off to talk about last night's programmes with Ushijima who was jogging at a fast pace.

Shirabu was still shocked. In the game between Shiratorizawa and Karasuno, Hinata was spiking excellently and although it was because of Kageyama's tossing, he still looked like he was doing most of the work with his speed, stamina and jumping even blocking Ushijima at some point. Shirabu and HInata had managed to match up with their timing but Hinata kept getting blocked. Finally, Hinata began to use his feints and he was spiking more effectively. The determination on all of Karasuno's players were obvious. A break was called and Shirabu sat himself down on the bench. Suddenly, he felt somebody hand him a bottle. He turned to face Kiyoko Shimizu. He had seen her in the finals and had immediately tried to catch her attentions. He felt his cheeks reddening as he accepted the water bottle stammering,

"Thanks,"

Shimizu said nothing as she walked off to hand the results over to the coach. Shirabu stared at her as she left. Suddenly two rather scary looking faces appeared in front of him. It was Tanaka and Nishinoya.

"Don't you dare even thinking or looking at Shimizu-san!" Tanaka exclaimed. Shirabu nodded as he watched the two walk over to Shimizu with smiles and offering to carry her clipboard and pen.

Kageyama was frustrated. Nobody could match up with his timing for his toss. Everybody else could easily synchronise with the normal toss but Kageyama knew that fast attacks would be the best and could win the three on three. Hinata – even if his power, receiving and serving was terrible – had a lot of speed and could match up with his tosses. During the break, Kageyama went to the vending machine to get a milk carton but they had already gone. He angrily thudded on the glass. He could hear sniggers behind and turned to face Kuro and Yamamoto who were desperately trying to stifle their laughs. Kageyama simply looked at them and left with a dark aura surrounding him which made Kuro and Yamamoto laugh even more.

"Kageyama and Kenma sure are different!" Kuro said.

"I wonder how he's getting on," Yamamoto said as the two returned to the gym to continue practice.

Right now, the clockwork which had started running smoothly was becoming rough. The clockwork can still operate but what if another piece of clockwork was changed?
