Maddie's point of View
(This is written in Maddie's diary)
It's almost been a full year since we went missing. Me and McKenzie have gone through a lot since we have been kidnapped. We've gotten sick we've had broken bones but we've gotten through it but this time was different McKenzie's really sick and I'm not sure how long she'll have to live after find a way out of here but I can't leave the other girls behind. I have the keys I can leave once Nicholas goes to bed but what will you do to my family and my friends he may kill them. (later that night)
I'm writing this because this is going to be the very last thing I write in my diary I'm taking McKenzie to the hospital tonight. I have to leave my friends here i'll tell the cops where he has kept us I know you my phone here so they can track it.

Maddie's point of you not in her diary
I grab McKenzie's arm unlocked our door and ran downstairs I got the other door unlocked I ran outside I saw a cop car sitting at the end of the street I ran I told him that we're Maddie McKenzie Zigler and I've been kidnapped for 11 months he said OK and he took us to the hospital and called for back up but by the time he got to the house Nicholas had already moved all the girls and the moms I broke down in tears when they told us. I was right about McKenzie she was really sick she could've died if I didn't get her out of there. The next thing I heard was Kendall calling my name I ran out of the room and I saw Kendall I ran towards her and we hugged Jill gave me a hug too and then I showed them McKenzie's room. Jill  said she will take care of us until they find Melissa. We told the cops that Nicholas had our mom and page and Josh and their mom Kelly I told him I left my phone with the tracking GPS on luckily someone grabbed it and it was moving and they were near the border going into Canada the cops alerted the Canadian border to keep a lookout for it for a man with two older women and two children.
