Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Okay so 2016 is over and I'm actually happy about that because this year was probably the craziest.
Okay back to the story!
Enjoy!

I bit my lip and tried to think of plans.
One, I could run around this place and try to spot Phillipa.
Two, stay where I am so maybe she could pass by.
Three, I could ask an adult (as they told me way back in the orphanage if I were lost).
Number 1 seems pretty decent so I guess I could stick with that.
I started going to the direction where Phillipa was going and looked for the familiar face.
"Excuse me," I kept saying as I weaved out of the crowd. It seemed everlasting until the crowd completely cleared up and there were only a few people.
I kept walking, getting awkward stares from other people as I passed by them.
She's got to be somewhere.
Phillipa's POV
"Golee, there are a lot of these," I said to myself as I looked through the afro combs. "Macey, mind if you-"
I stopped mid-sentence when I turned around to see no familiar face and mentally face palmed.
Where the heck is Macey?
I swore under my breath and walked out the store, walking fast and looking around constantly.
"Macey?!" I called, looking in between people for the girl. "Where are you?"
All I could do was keep calling out for her and race around the huge mall.
Macey's POV
It felt like it was forever, just walking around and looking for Phillipa.
I passed by a huge line of people with kids smiling and messing around. I looked down the line and saw a fat man with a red suit on.
I forget his name, but who cares.
"Excuse me?" I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw an orange haired girl about my height with a grin on her face, "are you Macey Miranda?" I nodded. Why do people keep asking me who I am?
The girl squealed, covering her mouth. "Oh my god, it's really you- I, um, I don't know!" She paused for a moment. "I'm a huge fan of your dad, Lin Manuel Miranda, right?"
"Yes?" I replied awkwardly.
"Okay, good! I-"
"Look," I said, cutting her off, "I'm actually lost right now? So is it possible if you could-"
"YES!" she bursted out, jumping up and down and wrapping me into a hug. I awkwardly pulled away.
"Okay person-I-do-not-know," I said, "let's just get to it."
We started walking around looking for the familiar person, although I never told who I was looking for.
"Who are we looking for, like what does he or she look like?" the girl asked anyways as we walked around.
"Phillipa Soo, I think I have her last name right," I said not looking at her. The girl widened her eyes.
"Phillipa? No-" she sounded in shock.
"Is there anything wrong with that?" I asked.
"Well, ya know... I'm a huge fan of the musical Hamilton, and you're the daughter of the creator! Phillipa is an amazing actor in it- God her voice is PERFECT! Oh and-"
"I think you know her," I chuckled. "Have you spotted her yet?"
"No, do you have an idea of where she might be?"
"No?"
I looked at her. "I never got your name, what is it?"
"Winnifred, or Winnie."
I scoffed. "Where'd you get that name?" I paused for a moment. "Sorry that I'm being rude."
Winnie kept looking around.
"My parents loved the book 'Tuck Everlasting' so much, they named me after the protagonist," Winnie said. "Did you see her yet?"I had so many questions after she said that.
"Hm, sounds nerdy," I said, "and no I have not see Phillipa yet."
"Over there, I think that's her," Winnie said, pointing to a woman leaning against the wall on her phone.
"Is it?" I said excitedly, craning my neck over the people passing by.
"I hope, let's go."
Winnie and I headed for the woman, crossing fingers that it's Phillipa.
"Excuse me?" I asked, tapping the woman on the shoulder. She turned around.
"Yes?" said the woman, smiling. Her face was slim, yet it didn't looking like Phillipa. She also had a brown dot on her cheek that was the size of a quarter.
I cringed. "Oh, nothing. I thought you were someone else..." I trailed off and gave a 'what the heck I gotta do" face to Winnie, and she shrugged.
"Well, thanks- bye!" Winnie pulled me away from her.
"What was that thing on her face?" I asked as Winnie kept pulling me away. "Did someone like drew a brown circle on her face?"
"It's a personal thing for her," Winnie said, starting to slow down her walking speed.
"Why?"
"Nothing- let's keep looking."
Winnie kept pulling me along. At the same time, a random question popped up in my head.
"What is Christmas?" I blurted out. Winnie gave me a sudden puzzling look.
"You- you don't know?" she stuttered out. "Well, it's about getting together with families and celebrating with presents, friends, and tons of food."
"Cool."
Over in the distance, I see a woman frantically looking around with a familiar round face.
I picked up my pace suddenly. "I see her! I think I've found her!"
