Alistair's shoes hit the cobblestone path in a fast paced notion. Maneuvering through the village's rush hour was nothing new to him. People bustling about the town square and running errands. Alistair was heading for a place hidden in the forest, Wonderland Grove. It was hidden to all eyes except people of Wonderland. He finally crossed a bridge crossing to the forest. The farther he walked the sound of the village drowned out. Reaching a point to complete silence he walked to a stone wall that was moss and ivy covered. Feeling for the doorknob he opened the door. A scent of flora and fauna hit Alistair. It reminded him of home, he went through the door. Closing it behind him to be hidden from eyes of non Wonderland folks mostly to keep them from getting scared. Turning to see a garden of live flowers he smiled. This was his favorite part of the day, getting to tend to the plants. The first plant he stopped at was the Lazy Daisies. Crouching, he tapped a flower gently. "Hey wake up sleepy heads. It's your dinner time." Alistair whispered. Yawning and stretching the flowers got up, their opened petals would remind anybody of crazy bedhead. "Alright every-" he began until he noticed one daisy still fast asleep. Stifling his laughter, he tapped the flower. "Silly if you don't wake up you won't get any dinner." Alistair chuckled. The flower got up and Alistair fed them. After tending to all the plants Alistair pulled a book out of his backpack. Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. He read the flowers and plants for two hours. "Well I have to go, farewell." Alistair put the book back into his backpack and was winding through the maze to the door. "Mr. Wonderland." a man's voice sounded. Swiveling around Alistair found White Rabbit. "Mr. Blanc? What are you doing here?" Alistair relaxed from his stance. Looking at his pocket watch and tucking it back in his dark red waistcoat, "We don't have much time, we have to go, I'll explain later." Suddenly the ground collapsed beneath their feet. Falling through darkness. What felt like hours of falling they finally met the ground. White Rabbit landed on his feet but Alistair didn't. Jumping up and brushing himself off as he tried to play it off in pain from the hit on the floor. Surprised he didn't break any bones or fracture them. "Are we where I think we are?" Alistair said his voice showing excitement. "Yes we are in Wonderland, but don't get your hopes up too soon." White Rabbit told Alistair. "Why not we're home?" Alistair shrugged in question. "Listen, I can't talk here but I'll tell you when we get there." White Rabbit slid a piece of dry wall out of the way. Climbing down Rabbit signaled Alistair to follow, frustrated Alistair climbed down. Two hours of climbing down a ladder they finally met floor again. The surroundings were aquatic and light shifted through glass.
