Shower thoughts

Phil woke up to the sound of his alarm clock beeping. He hated that noise. He looks at the time, 7:32 am. At least I have time to shower, he thinks to himself. He walks to the. Bathroom, undresses, and turns on the hot water. Phil always takes long showers. He just thinks they are e perfect time to think things over. Warm water in your back, steam overtaking the bathroom, and the sound of the water rushing through the pipes. It calmed Phil. His mind goes back to the dream he had just had. It was about Dan, Dan Howell. Dan Howell was the loner of the school. Phil had always found him very attractive, and he didn't seem like he was rude to people. He had always wanted to talk to Dan but didn't know what to say. But yesterday Phil took the risk.

Flashback

Phil was walking through the hallway going to class, most people were already there. One person caught his eye. Dan Howell. Phil thinks this is the perfect time to talk to him, he was just sitting on the floor on his phone. After about two minuets he decided he would go talk to him, he was already late for class anyway.

Phil's thoughts are interrupted by his mom yelling, "Phil! Hurry up you're going to be late for school!"
"Sorry mum."  Phil' thoughts go back to how he met Dan yesterday.

"Uh h-hi."  Said Phil scoffing at himself for stuttering, why was he so nervous. "Hello." Replied Dan looking confused. "I'm Phil by the way."
"I know. I'm Dan"
"I know." Said Phil now smirking. 
"So what's up?" Phil questioned. Phil noticed how dans face was flawless. He had a dimple and his hair was slightly curled at the ends. He was beautiful.
"Free period," Dan noticed Phil looking at his hair. "Sorry I didn't have time to straighten it today."
"Wha-" Phil is embarrassed Dan noticed him looking at his hair.

"Phil! Hurry up!"
His thoughts are interrupted again.
"Mum, I have a free period in the morning today!" Phil blatantly lied.
"Oh okay sorry sweetie." Phil hears him mom walk away.

"You were looking at my hair." Dan chuckles.
"S-sorry I- I think it's cute" said Phil regretting it right away.
Dans cheeks turned red, he looked down and smiled.

"Phil I just checked with your teacher and he says you don't have a free period. Get out of the shower you've been in there for nearly 20 minuets!"
"Sorry mum I- I really did think I had a free period.' Phil lied again.
"Sure you did."

"Well you know something Phil? Dan said still blushing and his voice becoming very giddy.
"Mhm- yeah?" Phil said barely above a whisper.
"I think you're pretty cute too, want to hang out sometime?" Dan said hoping Phil wouldn't be like the rest of them.
"I'd love too."

"Phil if you don't get out the of that shower right now you're grounded!"
"Okay mom calm down." Phil couldn't help but let a laugh escape his lips.
