    Y/a- Your age
    Y/m/n- Your mothers' name
    Y/f/n- Your fathers' name

After breakfast was done, it was time to 'hang out' with someone new. I didn't know who it was going to be, but I got a weird feeling that I was being watched.
"Alrighty, Y/n! You are to spend time with Machi!" Uvogin let out another hearty laugh and slapped me on the back. I winced, but smiled.
I knew who he was talking about. The female with pink hair that was currently sending me the oh-hell-nah look. "Nice." I turned to said woman. ", I hope to get to know you better, Machi."
She let out a 'hmph' and rolled her blue eyes. "Whatever. I get to choose what we do, got it?"
     "Of course. Whatever you want."

After cleaning up the plates from the pancakes, Machi has ushered me to her room. "In here. I have something we can do."
I walked into her room. And sat in a small chair in the corner. "You know, you can sit on my bed. What we will be doing consists on trust. We're going to ask each other personal questions while knitting." that was when I noticed a small knitting pack in Machis' left hand.
"Of course." I moved quickly to her bed and sat down. It was softer than I had expected, and larger.
And with that, Machi handed me a knitting set, along with some yarn. "Here, use this."
I frowned. I didn't know how to knit. "I get to ask the first question. How old are you?"
Machi began knitting something, but I didn't move. "I'm y/a. My turn. Is Machi your real name?"
The pink haired female smiled an eerie smile. "Yes. Are you knitting?"
     "I don't know how to."
"God, you're utterly helpless." Machi sighed annoyingly and sat her project down. "Skip the knitting. The questions are more important. What are your parents name?"
"Y/m/n and y/f/n. Do you have any special powers?"
"I have Nen stitches. Do you know Nen?"
"Nen? No. Do you have a favorite food?"
Machi snorted at my question. "What, are you seven? Fine, it's spaghetti. Do you have any talents?"
"I can sing, and draw. I haven't in a while, though."
"One more question, what was it like to have caring parents?"
I hadn't expected a question like that, but I answered anyways. "It was nice. I always got what I wanted, and every night, my parents would come into my room and kiss me goodnight."
The female smiled a sincere smile. "How sweet. My parents abandoned me at age five. I grew up in Meteor City, and at age fifteen, I became one of the Phantom Troupe."
What she said really struck a cord in me, and I couldn't help but cry for her. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." I wanted to hug her with all I had, but I was afraid she would get upset.
Machi continued smiling, and surprisingly, she hugged me. "It's alright. I'm okay now. You must be tired. Get some rest."

    Timeskip

I was sure that me and Machi had bonded greatly ever since what happened. She's always shoot me a smile whenever she had the chance.

I'm going to spend as much time as I could with her.

I finally got this done.

Thank you all for being patient, and enjoy this chapter.

I literally cried when I thought about how Machis' parents might have actually abandoned her.
