Part 12 - Chris' POV

For some reason I can't fall asleep. Eva is breathing quietly, surprisingly not snoring for once.

I watch as her eyes flutter and wonder what she's dreaming about.

I can't fuck this up with her, I can't let my habits ruin this. She's everything I need and everything I want. I can tell she still doesn't trust me, understandable though.

For once in my life I found someone that doesn't want something from me, whether that's popularity, a hookup, interaction with the Penetrator guys.

She doesn't want that, she just wants me. Me, in all my fucked up mess of a self, she can see past it.

I pull her closer to me gently and hold her in my arms. She stirs but doesn't wake and I close my eyes.

In the comfort I find from her sleep finally pulls me in.

okay i'm so fucking sorry for not updating for like a week. i've been having really really really bad writers block. i know all these things i want to write about but it's just a matter of getting to that point. this is just a tiny filler chapter and so i can explain myself to you guys since not everyone who reads this follows me and can't see my message board. if you have anything you want me to write about please feel free to comment! i am always open to suggestions and if i like your idea and wanna use it the chapter will be dedicated to you ❤ i wanna take this fanfic as far as possible (i already have the ending planned) but i want as much in between as a i can and it's gonna make you happy, sad, pissed, unsure, confused, etc. i have a lot of ideas floating around.

so please forgive me for the lack of updates i am really trying! thank you so much for the thousands of reads i've gained since my last update i am blown away but how far this fanfic has gotten. someone even messaged me asking if they can translate it for italians?? um so crazy. i love you guys and thank you for supporting fanfic! i will try my best to get this going and do you guys right (:
