Aris Williams

After putting the pink sweatshirt on my own body because for some reason I didn't bring a sweatshirt like my usual, the smell of Shonn basically wafted up my nose. And I couldn't seem to just ignore it, pretend it wasn't there. Digging my fingers into the sweatshirt, I pulled it up to my nose and took another hit of the wonderful smell.

"Uhm. Aris?"

My head shot up, and I saw Julia standing there with two trays balancing in her arms. My eyebrow shot up in curiosity for why she had two, but I still helped her put them on the table nonetheless.

"Why do you have two trays?" She motioned the area in front of me, and pushed the other tray in front of me.

"You didnt buy lunch." It was a statement, and it was said in the way of 'duuhh.'

I shrugged and poked at the food. "That doesnt mean you have to get me some. I just ran out of lunch money." She hugged me unexpectedly, not to mention awkwardly because we were sitting down in lunch chairs.

"I know you don't like people doing things for you, just don't argue with me about this. Okay?" Letting go of me, a small smile was traced around her perfect lips, only to look grim whenever she looked up, and apparently saw somebody walk into the cafeteria.

Curious on what changed her posture so quickly, I turned myself to see a pissed off Abe walking our way.

He took the seat on my other side, pulling it out, and pushing it back in an almost angered way. His green eyes lit up with an anger that I knew from experience occurred after he got out of a fight with somebody.

Seeing Shonn walk in a couple of seconds of Abe, I could only guess it was from him.

Shonn, instead of sitting beside his friend, took a seat somewhere on the other side of the cafeteria with a bunch of girls that were in my grade. The frown that was on his face instantly turned into a flirtacious smirk, and the girls around him swooned.

I could pretend I heard it already, 'Ohh Shonn, you re soooo muscular.' 'You're in the grade about us, right? Heheheheheheee.'

Shoot me.

"Fucking ass wipe. I would beat the shit out of him if he wasn't my best friend. " Not knowing what overtook me, I took Abes shaking hands into my own to calm him. The tension that built up slowly left, and a small smile flitted onto his lips. He took his hand out of mine, and placed the one on my cheek.

Looking more sincere than I have seen most doctors whenever they talk about how everything, his smile turned bigger.

"You really are a good one." Confused about what he was talking about, I went to ask him what he meant, but he had already turned and started talking to one of his buddies that came over here in the time elapsed.

Hearing a door literally slam, almost everybody in the cafeteria turned their head to the noise.

I wasn't really interested in who it was, but whenever lunch was over, and I just made a quick glance over the cafeteria, I noticed that Shonn wasn't at the table of bubbly girls. Curious, I looked all around, and saw that he wasnt in here at all.

...

With Julia still chatterboxing in my ear, I took the passenger side of the car, and watched as she pulled her small figure into the car itself.

Her phone went off, she gave me a finger to show, 'one second' like I was listening anyways, and began to have a conversation on the phone about some kind of meet up or whatnot.

Eyes blinking over to me on occasion, a smile of her thinking about something sneaky curled over her lips.

"Ahuh, ahuh. Bye Ally. "
