SATURDAY
Once we reached Emily's Embry, Jared and I hopped out of the truck and began walking up to her front door, but stopped once Bella called out.
"Hey I think we should go back and see if Jacob is okay." We all chuckled at her remark, but I stopped once I saw how serious she was.
"Bella he'll be fine, they were just messing around." I told her, I was half lying and half not. They would never do anything to actually kill each other but they were still fighting in all seriousness. Jared ignores her and looks to me and Embry,
"I hope Paul sinks some teeth in him, serves him right." I punch his arm and tell him to shut up.
"No way!" Embry banters. "Jacob's a natural." He looks to Bella and calls out to her,
"Come on in Bella, we won't bite."
Jared adds in and says "See for yourself." I roll my eyes teasingly and head inside, Bella once again, willingly gets out of the truck and heads in. I stop her before she goes in and tells her in a calm voice.
"Oh hey, about Emily, Sam's fiancé, don't stare, it bugs Sam."
"Why would I stare?" I hear here voice behind me. We all walk in to see Emily,
"You guys hungry? Like I have to ask." We laugh as we grab muffins off the platter and sit down at the table. She turns to Bella standing in the door way and continues.
"Who's this?" Jared calls out after her,
"Bella Swan, who else?" They have a conversation for a while but I space out. I hear footsteps coming closer and faint voices, not being able to tell who's mind i'm listening to, but I assume it's Paul's. Although we all can listen to each others thoughts, I had a stronger connection to his than anyone else's. Before I know it, Sam is walking through the front door.
"Jacob's right, your good with weird." He goes over to Emily and kisses her, I turn my head again to the front door to see Jacob and Paul lightly pushing each other and then finally entering the house. Paul takes a seat in front of me and he looks up to Bella.
"Sorry." He says with sarcasm and a smirk on his face. I look at him with disbelief; I push my chair back and shake my head as I walk upstairs to my room, shutting the door angrily behind me. I pace back and forth around my room running my fingers through my hair. I was trying to stay calm but I was boiling with anger. How could he take this so lightly? He could have killed her if he wanted to? Not that he actually would, but it's possible. I hear my door open and I turn around to see Paul standing in the door way, he looks calm, different from his self-absorbed, volatile self.
"I'm sorry about what happened Kaya." I looked at him, I could tell he wasn't serious, I shook my head.
"You don't actually care. Do you even realize what could have happened?? You just lash out whenever you feel like it and don't think about the consequences." His face grew more serious and he stepped closer to
me, hovering over me. I was tall but not compared to him, he stood a good 5 inches taller than me and had to look down on me to talk.
"I'm sorry Kaya, i'm really, really sorry." He looked sympathetic but I turned away with my arms crossed.
He took my face in his hands and spoke again.
"Kaya please, listen to me. I am really sorry, I shouldn't have let my anger get to me." I looked at him and saw he was sorry. I let out a huff and rested my head on his chest.
"Yeah yeah your forgiven." I lightly smiled, not wanting to show him that I was fully happy with him again. He smiled widely and took my head and kissed my forehead multiple times. I laughed and pushed him away with a huge grin plastered on my face.
"Now leave me alone before I find another reason to get mad at you." He knew I wasn't serious and just walked out of my room with a huge smile on his face. I shook my head laughing at what a good he was. I layer down and began to close my eyes for a nap, reminiscing about the moment.
