Justin's POV
I came running off stage with the crowd screaming and my team clapping and cheering as I came off. I got handed a towel and water bottle when all I really wanted was my girl in my arms. When I got to my dressing table I couldn't see Kate anywhere so I walked to Cody's dressing room and knocked on the door. "Come in." Tiana said on the other side. I opened the door and saw Cody and Tiana cuddling on the sofa with popcorn and Love Actually on pause.
"Hey guys, sorry to bother you. Do you know where I can find Kate?" I asked them standing in the door way. "She popped by earlier and told us she was heading back to the hotel. She had stuff to sort out." Cody told me, looking confused. He obviously thought I knew but I didn't.
"Oh. Did she say anything? Was she okay, Tiana?" I knew Tiana would be able to tell if anything was wrong with her. "I tried talking to her outside to see if there was something wrong because she didn't look alright but she just said she was tired." She told me. I smiled and nodded at them before exiting the room. "Kenny!" I shouted down the hallway when I saw him. He turned round suddenly in shock to hear me shout at him. "I need to get back to the hotel...can you take me?"

I unlocked the hotel room's door and it was silent. I quickly looked around the kitchen/living room and then outside on the balcony to check she wasn't there. I thought maybe she was just tired and needed to sleep. I opened our bedroom door a bit and saw her lying in our bed and I calmed down. I then took my performace clothes off and threw on my PJ bottoms.
Silently I slid into to bed next to her and wrapped my arms and body around hers. When she felt me she pulled me into her closer. I kissed her cheek and whispered into her ear "I love you." and she turned around to face me. Her wide blue eyes stared into mine and smile appeared on her face as she said "I love you more" and then I siimply replied with "Love you most".
She giggled as I kissed her lips and pulled her body into him and held her there. I felt her breathing slow down as she dozed off. I never wanted to let her go, this moment was too perfect.
Kate's POV
I got a taxi back to the hotel room. I wasn't feeling very well and as I kept on thinking about how mine and Justin's relationship wasn't the same as it used to, I felt more and more upset. I didn't want to welcome Justin off stage being like that. I just had to go home and have some me time. As I got into the room, I made my way to balcony and looked over to the beach. The water made me think of home and how I missed it so much.
I've been with Justin on the road since his tour started and only got to speak to my brother and dad over the phone. I normally wasn't bothered about it but tonight just felt different. For some reason I felt all my emotions spill out of me in forms of tears.
I hugged myself as the cold night air nipped at my arms. As I realised someone might be able to see me cry I wandered back inside and climbed into PJs and then into bed. I closed my eyes, cancelling out all the noise of outside could hear from the open window above me. As my breathing calmed down and I stopped crying, i could feel someone's arms wrap around me and give me warmth.
I was so happy Justin was with me at this moment in time. "I love you" he whispered into my ear. It was as if he knew I was upset and could tell what I needed. I needed to look into his eyes to feel safe and happy and as I turned round so could, that was exactly how i felt. That's what he did to me.

Justin's POV
I woke up to a big empty with no one in it. I sat up quickly and jumped out of bed to see where Kate was. I saw Tiana sitting on the sofa watching 'Ridiculousness' by herself. "Where's Cody and Kate?" I asked her as looked over to the kitchen part of the room. "Look outside." She said without taking her eyes off the TV.
I went out onto the balcony and looked out over to the beach. I saw two figures with surf boards standing on the water's edge. One of them was definitley Cody because of his figure and height and the other one was definitley Kate because of how small she looked compared to Cody and her skinny figure. It was 8AM so the beach was empty. "She woke Cody up at 6AM and they've been down there since." Tiana came out on the balcony and told me.
I smiled at how confident Kate was feeling, I was proud of her. I saw Kate start walking out into the sea and Cody stand behind her, making sure she knew she was safe. Cody would be the better choice over me to take someone out surfing and help them. He grew up surfing and used to be a lifeguard so I trusted him. I am pretty sure Kate does as well.
Kate climbed on her board and started swimming out to sea, with Cody trailing behind. When then got out deep enough, but not too deep, they waited out on the water for a wave. I could see Cody give her a quick hug of encouragement. I could see a wave start forming from behind them. While Cody stayed on his board, Heather started to get up on her board. I grabbed the bar in front of me, hoping she would do it.
As the wave became behind her...she surfed it.
AUTHORS NOTE
So this is only a short chapter. I dont really like writing long ones because most the time people dont want to read a long one so :)
Hope you enjoyed it. I'm starting to get into the real stories there just needs to be little bumps in the relationship to build up to the main part
