You Don't Know Us

Part 2

Lauren POV

I screamed as I woke up with fur in my face. I frantically spazzed, trying to get this creature off me. I screamed,

"LISA. GET THIS STUPID, UGLY CAT OUT OF MY ROOM."

Lisa rushed into the room, and burst out into continuous laughter as she saw my frightened state. I was hovering on my bed, glaring at the cat sitting on my rug. Lisa scooped up the devil and said,

"Laur, Charles is harmless. He's not gonna do anything. Calm down."

I glared at her and her devil as she walked out the door, probably going to text one of her friends. I scrolled through twitter, laughing to myself every time something funny popped up.

Suddenly, a message from my friend came up. She asked if I wanted to go to the zoo with a couple of our other friends. I bit my lip. I hate animals. But I haven't spent time with my friends in a while, so might as well.

I quickly sent back a reply, and scoured through my closet.

Lauren, we all know you're going to end up wearing a flannel, so no point skipping through your flannel closet.

I pulled out a red and black flannel and paired it with some leggings. I ran my hands through my wavy hair, not bothering to brush it. Grabbing my car keys and heading towards Lisa and Amy's room.

"Let's go Ames, Nikki and the twins are gonna be waiting for us and you know what happens when we make Nikki wait." I chuckle trying to make myself feel better about going to the zoo. I leave her and head to Dani's room, and to no surprise she's on the phone with Angel.

"Let's go, love birds we need to hit the road." I tell Dani and she groans.

"oh shush you'll see her 15 minuets plus she's already on the way so let's go." I coax Dani into getting ready.

"Fine." she groans and says her goodbyes to Angel. I shake my head walking away from Dani's room. I walk down stairs to living room waiting for my siblings to get off their butts so we can go and get it over with. Alex Lisa Chris and Kath where all sitting on the couches.

"Y'all sure don't want to join in, it should be a treat." I say sarcastically, and they all look at me.

"Oh come on, not even you Alex, you know Ang is going to be there." I nudge him and he laughs.

"I'm pretty sure I am the last person Angelica wants to see right now." Even though I know what happened, I cant imagine Angelica blaming and or hating Alex for said events.

"Oh come on she's crazy over you." I basically beg, I'd feel a whole lot better if Alex, my 20 year old brother would go with us, almost use him as a human sacrifice if any animals go rouge.

"I'm not going Lo, you'll be fine without me." I roll my eyes and finally Dani and Amy make it down the stairs.

Finally we all pull into the Zoo's parking lot, my mindset at the moment is  the sooner we get in the sooner we can leave. Nikki, Angel, and Angelica are waiting by the entrance, The twins have miffed expressions on their face, Crap! I looked at my phone 12:47, we where supposed to be here at 12:15.

After we got lectured by Nikki and saw a few animals we had made it to the worse part of the zoo, the petting zoo. The second we walked in all different kinds of evil creatures crowded around us, and suddenly my whole mind filled with thoughts that weren't my own. Everything was jumble and I couldn't make sense out of any of it. My head started pounding and my world spun, the first one to notice was Angel and she frantically nudged her sister. I raised my hands to the side of my head in attempts to ease or stop whatever this was, my world blurred and I felt my knees give out and just as I was about to reach the ground Angelica caught me and everything went black.
