You Don't Know Us

Part 4

Lisa P.O.V

We've been sitting in the hospital for hours trying to hear any news on Angelica but no one is telling us anything! This is the second time in a  month we've been in this hospital and I'm already sick of it, I absolutely hate hospitals, always have and always will. 

 I looked over at the others, Christina and Kath were trying to get info out of the doctors but no one would tell them anything, I saw Alex sitting on the ground his face in his hands as Amy was rubbing her hand on his back in an effort of comforting him, Dani who had a few cuts on her arm from pushing Nikki and Angelica out of the way was hugging a crying Angel. I saw Lauren just staring off into space probably processing everything that's happened and Nikki who still was covered in the smoke from the school and her whole outfit was completely ripped but not a scratch was to be seen on her had her arm around Ashley who had tears streaming down her face.

"Nikki you should go get checked out by a doctor, you were in the building as a bomb went off." I told Nikki as I walked over to her but Nikki just shook her head.

"Not until I get to see my sister, and I'm fine Lisa." Nikki told me and I sighed but nodded, there was no way I was gonna try and argue with her right now I turned around and walked over to Christina and Kath who walked back with frowns on their faces.

"Did they tell you anything?" I asked them and they sadly shook their heads and that's when I had enough, I don't care if they see me or not but I'm going to see Angelica. I felt anger burn through me as I made my way over to the double doors that kept Angelica and I walked straight past the doctor, and he actually didn't even see me! I walked through the double doors and made my way to Angelica's room which wasn't too hard to find and I walked into Angelica's room and to my surprise she was awake! 

"Angelica!" I shouted as I ran to her and she smiled and sat up slowly, trying to get comfortable.

"Hey Lisa, where are the others?" She asked me confused to as why it was only me in the room and I smiled and rubbed the back of my head.

"I may have just walked in here, but they wouldn't let us see you and it's not my fault the doctor didn't see me, I mean I walked right by him and it was like I wasn't even there!" I told her and she laughed silently until I heard a cough behind me and I turned around and saw the doctor standing there, his arms crossed and a frown on his face.

"Ma'am how the heck did you get in here? " The doctor asked me and I sighed and walked over to him to have a nice chat because Angelica is in here fine and we were all out there thinking she could be dying or something!

"I walked right by you Doc, I mean it's not my fault you didn't see me." I told him and he looked as if he was annoyed.

"No one walked past me, I just saw you talking to a younger girl, I turned around to check something and I looked back and you were gone. But there was no way you could have even ran past me from where you were because I still would have been able to see you even if you tried." He told me and I looked at him puzzled, I literally just said I walked by him because that's what I did.

It's as if he thought I was invisible or something.

Angel's POV

"Guys, we need to talk" Nikki said. We had all been in Ang's hospital room since Lisa somehow snuck past the doctor. Katherine and Nikki leaning against the doorway, Lisa, Amy, and Lauren in seats within the room. Christina and Ashley on the opposite side while Alex was on Ang's bed with her head resting against his chest and I was standing with my head rested on Dani's shoulder.

"Go on." Chris encouraged her to continue.

"It may sound crazy." Nikki started

"When don't you?" Ashley asked being the annoying brat of a little sister she is, earning herself a small warning of a slap from Christina which she dramatically played out.

"It's Just something Hudson said..." She trailed off, we all sighed at the mention of his name.

"He said something about our three families having powers." she finally finished. The rest of us looked at each other with the same completely confused expression on our faces. Couldn't she be serious right? Maybe she hit her head during the explosion because this is absolutely outrageous. 

All of a sudden Ashley breaks out hysterical laughing, but then stopped and her face dropped.

"She's not kidding." she gasped.

"How do you know that?" Angelica asked.

"Well for starters I read her mind and it proves she's not lying." 

"Okay nice joking around  guys, really I appreciate the good laugh but we have bigger things to worry about." I say having my fill of this stupidity. Dani looked at me with a new found discovery behind her eyes.

"Ang it makes sense." She breathes out

"My running, Chris not getting hurt, Nikki healing, Amy changing that doctors mind, Ang falling, Lauren's zoo episode, Lisa getting by the doctor, and your lake experience." 

"It all adds up." She finishes

"Oh good now you've got my girlfriend on your side too." I scoff looking at my two youngest sisters.

"This is ridiculous I'm leaving." I say grabbing my belongings while the others coax me into staying. 

I get into my truck when a wave of anger washes over me. What if they weren't lying? What if it was the truth? But it couldn't be, What about Katherine and all the boys, nothing crazy happened to them? And even if why wouldn't our parents at least warned us? None of this made any sense.

Katherine's POV

Angel left and the whole room bursts into an argument.

"Nikki isn't lying! Why do you have to act like everything is invalid?" Ashley screams at her older sister.

"Well what about Angel, did you ever think of her? And I never said Nikki was lying, but maybe some of us can't handle that." Angelica fought back.

"Why are you always on her side. So she can't handle it, doesn't mean the rest of us can't!" Nikki yelled.

"Watch it, Nicole." Dani warned.

"Oh, please Danielle, I haven't even said anything yet and even if I did what are you going to do about?" Nikki defended. Dani neared her but Christina jumped between the two.

"GUYS!" She yelled. "Enough fighting, it's not going to make things any better. Kath go see if Angel's okay."

I go out and follow the path I assume Angel took. It leads me to the Twins' teal pickup truck near the back of the parking lot. In the drivers' seat, I saw Angel crying and it hurt seeing her like that. The next thing I knew I was in the passenger seat. I put my hand on Angel and she jumped.

"KATHERINE WHAT THE FRICK HOW DID YOU GET HERE!" she yelled.

"What do you mean?" I asked her confused.

"How the hell did you get into my car! The doors are locked!" she exclaimed.

Something clicked in my head, the powers. I don't know what about them but it definitely had something to do with it.

"The powers" I mumble under my breath while putting it all together in my head.

"What did you say?" Angel asked.

"Nothing but you have to come with me!" I excitedly yelled while grabbing Angel's hand, and then we were in Angelica's hospital room.

"What the heck just happened?" Angel asked staring at all the people in the room while they shared the shocked expression.

"The powers!" I proudly stated. Angel looked at me and then everyone else. She was clearly torn. She didn't want to believe it for her own sake but she couldn't deny we just teleported to the hospital room from her truck.

"Okay" she said. 

"Okay fine I believe it, I believe the powers."
