Along for Magcon

Ch 1

As I was doing my homework, for homeschooling, I heard the door open. But I didn't bother to look because I thought it was my mom or step dad. I knew I was wrong when I felt arms around my waist and I was being hugged. I turned to face him, "Cam!!! Omg I've missed you so much!!" I say excitedly and jump in to his arms. "Hey lil one. I've missed you too. Guess what I have for my little cousin." Oh yeah, Cameron Dallas is my cousin and him and I are super close. "What?" I asked as he put me back down. "Where are aunt Laura and Derek?" I was going to answer him when the front door opened and popped in my mom and stepdad. "Oh hey Cameron. How are you?" My mom asked. "I'm fine aunt Laura. But I have a surprise question for you three." "Okay?" He smiled his million dollar smile, "How would it sound if I took Shylee with me on the Magcon tour?" I started jumping up and down, "YAS!!! YAS!!! Please mom, please." I begged my mom. " Yes, you can go with Cam. But only if you call everyday and you do your homework." "Thank you!! Thank you!! I love you mom." I started running upstairs but something came to mind so I walked back into the dining room. "When are we leaving?" I asked Cam. "Ummm.... In three days." I smiled and ran back upstairs to pack. I grabbed my suitcase and packed a bunch of stuff. Like tank tops, T-shirts, shorts, jeans, and shoes (a bunch!!!). Then I went into my bathroom and packed my shower and hair products, my toothbrush and toothpaste, my razor, and my brush. I grabbed my suitcase and took it downstairs. Cameron and my parents were talking when I came down. "You done? Because you're coming with me and staying with me until we leave." "I'm almost done." I said as I grabbed my laptop, and school stuff. "Ok now I'm done." I laughed at the face he made.
           We went to his car and put my suitcase in the backseat and we climbed in. "What are we gonna do today?" I asked as I buckled my seat belt. "Well I thought we could go drop this stuff off at my house and then we could go to get lunch?" I nodded in agreement. We sat listening to the radio as we drove off to his house. When we got there he grabbed my suitcase and I grabbed my school stuff and we walked up to his house. "It's been forever since I've been here." I said as we walked in. "I know." He replied and put down my suitcase and said, "let's go." So I followed him back out to his car. "Sooo... Where are we eating?" I asked getting impatient. "It's a surprise lil one, calm down." I huffed and got on my iPhone 7, which Cameron also got me for Christmas. I was scrolling through Instagram and was looking at all the videos and pictures of Cam people posted and I started laughing. "What's so funny?" He asked me smiling. "Oh nothing just the stuff fans post of you on Instagram." "Oh? Like what?" We stopped at a red light, so I showed him. It was a video of him hanging out a car window singing weirdly. "Wow! I forgot that I posted that." He pulled into a parking lot and Parked in front of a fancy restaurant. "We're here." He said smiling at me. "No Cam. I'm not dressed right and I don't want you spending a ton of money on me." His smile never faltered as he came to my side of the car of the door. "Well to bad because we already have a reservation." I get out and start walking with him to the doors.
