Please learn that when using colons in writing use them properly or don't use them at all!
Colons are commonly used in fanfiction to indicate the use of texting or social media.
For chuck sake don't use them in any other context because it's extremely annoying and again NO one wants to read it if it's written that way! and it gives a bad name to fanfiction.
But again no offence some writers your ideas are really good and and story would be awesome if it was written properly.
