We walk down this, what seems like forever, hallway to see a bunch of people crowded at a doorway.

"Well hello there!" Someone greets us cheerfully.

"Hi." Nicole and I say at unison.

"What are your names? We need too keep track of who all is here."

"Nicole Hope."

"And I'm Serenity Zedler."

"Oh yes. Here ya are. Go on and get your instruments. Your section can help you both out once you are in there."

We say our thanks and head on in. The room is just as huge as the main commons area. There are so many trophies and even an upstairs. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the biggest room in the school.

"Hey look, there are some baritones. Maybe we should go talk to them." I say to Nicole.

"Yeah, we should. We look like lost puppies." She laughs.

Right as I start walking, I trip over a case. Of course! I would be the one to fall. There goes my reputation. Goodbye cruel world......

"Oh god. Are you okay? Sorry, my case is just in the middle of the room. I really should move it before someone falls again."

Oh. My. God. I, Serenity Zedler, just tripped over a HOT GUYS CASE. I'm so dumb. What the hell is wrong with you. Get it together.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just fallin' for ya." I say stupidly, snapping my fingers and pointing at him.

He laughs, "you're funny. Let me help you up. I'm Jason, by the way."

"Hi, I'm Serenity"

"That's a beautiful name. It suits a beautiful girl like you," Jason flirts.

I blush, "um, thanks. You are too." What the fuck, I just called him beautiful. What is wrong with you girl.

With a smirk he says, "thanks sweet pea. But you should get to your section before Mr. Todd catches us goofing off."

He walks off and I just break.

"Oh my god, girl. DID YOU JUST SEE THAT!?" I basically scream.

"See what?"

"This guy named Jason was being a total flirt with me, and you say hot guys aren't in band." I giggle.

"Well, I didn't see him, so I can't really say anything about him, can I?" She laughs.

"I guess not," I groan.

We walk over to our section, which already has our instruments out for us. We are the only new people in our section which explains why their are only 2 instruments.

"Hey, look who decided to show up. I'm Evan and this is Cameron and Neal." They all say their hello's.

"Hi, I'm Serenity, and this is my bf Nicole."

"Sup." Nicole bluntly says.

Wow, very smooth Nicole. Very smooth.

"Finally! We have chicks in our section. And they aren't ugly. Thank HEAVENS!" Neal says, we giggle.

"Well, it's nice to meet you two." Cameron says.

"It's nice to meet you as well," I smile. "Do you know this Jason dude?"

"Jason, as in, the Jason?" Neal asks. "He talked to you?"

"Only because I tripped over his trumpet case." I blush in embarrassment.

"I warn you now, don't mess with him. He is a player, fuckboy, all of the above. He will hurt you." Neal says.

"But he seemed sweet."

"More like sweet talk." Evan butts in.

"So don't talk to him?" I ask.

"We aren't saying that," Cameron continues. "Just, don't make the wrong mistake with him. Stay his friend, nothing more and nothing less."

"We are family now, babe. We are going to try and protect you." Neal concludes.
