Piers×Female!Reader
(This is if Piers lived, which he should have. Darn you CAPCOM!)

The room was silent, except for the faint beeping of the monitor. You stood by the window in the hospital room and stared out it, watching people come in and out of the building. You then turned your gaze towards the figure in the hospital bed, eyes slightly widening as he was sitting up. "You're up, Piers. How do you feel?"

"Like I failed Chris..." He said, his brows furrowed as he clenched his left hand into a fist. He then craned his neck a bit when he turned to the right, his eyes narrowing at the bandages on what was left of his right arm and side. "My right arm..."

You bit your lower lip and looked down at the floor before putting on a soft smile and looking back up at him. "Don't worry, Piers, the doctor said they'll get you your prosthetic one. Chris said it might even be a robotic one, which is pretty cool if you ask me."

"And my eye, what of my eye?" He asked, taking his left hand and placing it over his right eye, running the tips over the bandages that covered it. You rubbed the back of your neck and furrowed your brows.

"Um, yeah, they couldn't really do much to it. The doctor told Chris that you should wear an eye patch, unless you don't mind looking as though your blind in that eye." You paused and watched as he clenched his jaw. "But don't worry, you can still see out of it. Just that you don't have your eye color..."

Piers frowned a bit before he turned his head away, and you swore you heard him sniffle a bit. "He should have just left me." You heard him say and widened your eyes before softly gasping. "I shouldn't even be here, looking like...this."

"Don't say that Piers. Chris saved you because you're a good soldier and deserved to live."

"I don't feel like I deserved it." He mumbled. You frowned and moved closer to him, seating yourself on the edge of the bed. You grabbed his left hand and his body tensed a bit. "(Y/n), I feel like a monster looking like this."

You shook your head, your (h/c) hair flowing with the movement. "You're not a monster, Piers. You're still the same soldier who fought alongside Chris Redfield, the same soldier who protected his fellow comrades no matter what and you're still the same soldier I fell in love with."

The male raised his head, his one good, hazel-colored eye staring into your (e/c) ones. He looked so pitiful right now and you closed your eyes, your arms wrapping around him gently. "But I'm a broken soldier, (Y/n). I'll always be..." You shook your head and buried your face into his left shoulder.

"Stop speaking like that, Piers. You're not broken, you were just a little winded." You mumbled into his shoulder, yet made sure he was able to hear it. "You hit a bump in the road and you will recover from it, that I promise."

Piers took his left arm and wrapped it around you, pulling you closer to him. He then rested his chin atop your head and softly sighed. "Maybe you're right. Maybe all I need is time and someone to stay beside me, someone to help me."

"You have me and Chris, and we'll gladly stay by your side." You snuggled into him and he smiled before rubbing your back. "I'll always be by your side, no matter what." He heard you say and moved his head so that his face was buried in the crook of your neck.

The two of you stayed in the sweet embrace for a few more moments before Piers raised his head and you looked up at him. "Am I able to take off the bandages now or do I have to wait?"

"You can do whatever you please, soldier." Your lips curled into a smile as he straightened himself up. He then motioned for you to go ahead and remove the bandages. You placed your hands at the edge of the bandages that covered his right eye and you slowly removed them.

Piers softly smiled as you did so and closed his eyes as you cupped his right cheek, your thumb gently tracing the scars left behind by his accident. You then smiled as he placed his left hand on yours and gave it a gentle squeeze. "I've missed your touch and the feel of your soft, delicate hands."

"And I've missed you entirely, Piers." You smiled even more before you went to work at unraveling the bandages that covered his right side. He stared at where his arm used to be and looked back to you. You just kept smiling and he couldn't help but smile as well. "You planning on returning to the B.S.A.A.?"

He gave a small nod, which you frowned at. "But only if, and I mean if, Chris really needs me." You sighed and he watched as you snuggled into him.

"Then I suppose things will return back to the way they used to be, huh?"

"Not exactly." He said, and pressed his lips to your cheek in a sweet, quick peck. "I plan to retire early so I can spend more time with you. And by early I mean early, perhaps when I reach my thirties or so."

You giggled. "That's six or five years from now, are you sure?" You asked, and he gave you a nod before pecking your cheek again. You giggled, again, before cupping both his cheeks and brushing your lips against his in a sweet, passionate kiss.

His left arm wrapped around you, bringing you closer to him as you deepened the kiss, sticking your tongue into his mouth and pressing it against his own. You let out a small moan as his hand gently squeezed your side and slowly pulled away before things got heated. "God I missed your kisses." He breathed out.

"I'm sure that's not the only thing you've missed about me." Your lips curled into a slight smirk and Piers turned a light shade of red before looking down. "How about we continue this later, when you've acquired that lovely arm of yours?"

"Deal, but for now can you lay with me? I've missed holding you, (Y/n)." He was still blushing when he looked at you. Your head nodded and Piers slowly eased himself down onto the bed before feeling you lay with him on his left side. He slung his left arm over you, holding you close to him.

You had your head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat, smiling as you closed your eyes. Piers' chest eased up and down at a relaxed pace and you assumed he had already fallen asleep. "Welcome back, soldier." You whispered before falling asleep.

(Piers is a cute lil' babe, I swear he is. Him and Jake both are cute little babes. And because of this, expect more Piers and some Jake stories to come because I honestly can't get enough of these two. Also, I really hope you enjoyed reading this and feel free to request!)
