Day 3:
The next morning, I rise from bed, heading to bathe quickly, and ready myself. Finishing up. I walk out, heading into the kitchen to have breakfast. Noticing a note on the fridge. I tear it off in a rough manner. Knowing who it would be from. Crumbling it up a bit, I begin to read it. An apology from Kotaro.
Still feeling upset, I ball up the paper this time, throwing it in the trash.
*Jerk...* Flinging open the fridge, I grab a bottled water, opening it, and sucking it down.
Hearing the front door creak open, ever so slowly. i quickly toss my empty bottle in the trash, grabbing a pan, and hiding against he kitchen wall.
As the footsteps approach closely, I steady my hands on the pan, ready to hit the first bastard creeping by the wall.
Hearing the footsteps fade into the opposite direction.
I begin feeling a bit confused.
Peeking from the wall, I notice a ninja in all black rummaging through the drawers.
*A thief?*
Sneaking up behind the mysterious figure, i quickly swing, hitting them in the head pretty hard, watching them collapse onto the floor.
Bending down slowly, I turn the thief over, noticing a familiar face.
*Kotaro?*
---------
A few hours later, he awakens.
"Hi.."
His vision still a bit blurry, he quickly rubs his eyes.
Looking over at me.
"..." Then looking away, still feeling wrong for what he had done.
"I left you some fresh water. It's still warm, so don't let it sit there. I made you something to eat as well. I left it in the fridge. The medicine is sitting on the other side of you. If you need anything. Let me know." I explain, getting up to walk away.
Feeling Kotaro grab the sleeve of my kimono. My eyes widen in surprise.
"Forgive me Princess.."
"I already have." I smile faintly, slowly removing my kimono from his grip and heading into the bathroom.
Lets out a deeo and frustrated sigh, I crouch against the wall, and feel my eyes beginning to water.
Now wasn't the time to cry. I needed to get over myself and what happened yesterday.
Kotaro was right. The way i acted was irrational. I needed to start acting like a Princess.
Exiting the bathroom, I hear a slightly familiar voice, speaking with Kotaro.
Sneaking against the wall, I peek around the corner to eavesdrop. Listening closely to their conversation.
"If she's to much to handle, then you should say so. We can put her in the care of someone esle."
Getting a quick glance of the speaking voice, I see Saizo.
Quickly throwing my head back behind the wall. I continue to listen.
"..."
As expected Kotaro says nothing.
"Kotaro, you needn't decide now, but we will need to know your answer soon." Saizo explains, exiting the house completely.
Letting out a deep sigh, I slump to the floor.
Hearing footsteps approach closely, they cease.
