Café Confessions

You didnt talk to anyone all Sunday.You had been busy running errands with your dad and figuring out the Percy situation.

Your dad was eager to find out who you had picked for the lifeguard position but since that had lately been the last thing on your mind,you just told him he'd have to wait to find out.

You had texted Leo the next morning to somehow convince Percy to go to the café down the street from the country club.Leo was supposed to get Percy to think he was 'meeting up' with him when in reality,you'd be there instead.Leo said Percy was going to meet him and now the last part was solely your responsibility.You had to keep Percy there long enough to fix the problem.

You waited inside your car for Percy to arrive.In order to help make this scenerio play out more realistically,you had switched cars with Leo.Though you were nervous about Leo driving your Porche around,you told yourself Percy was more important.

Ten minutes past twelve and a blue and black motorcycle pulls into the parking lot.You waited till Percy had walked inside before you got out and followed him.When you walked in you saw him sitting in a booth,texting on his phone.

You were about to walk over to him when he looked up at you.His face didn't change to immediate annoyance like it had been lately,instead it was blank.You saw his chest rise with a heavy breathe before he exhaled,and gestured with his hand for you to come over.

Well this was definitaly not planbed.You walked over feeling slightly confused but played along and sat down across from him.

"Hi"he said,putting his phone in his jacket pocket.

He was wearing a black leather jacket over a navy shirt despite the heat of summer.He had black skinny jeans on paired with black converses.Unlike every other time you saw him dressed like that,this time you admitted he looked extremely good in it.

"Hey..."you replied,still feeling off the plan.By this point you figured he'd be giving you the 'Fuck off,y/n.'

"You're relentless,you know that?"he commented,taking a sip of his drink.

"Yeah I know...Percy I wanted to tell you something."you said,bracing yourself to get cut off or rejected.

"Leo told you I liked you."

"W-wait what?"now you were beyond surprised.

"Leo texted me Sunday,telling me he told you and that I needed to 'grow a pair' and admit it to you myself.Then this morning I saw him driving your Porche past the mall.I called him to ask him why he was in your car and he told me you let him borrow it.I know you arent stupid so I didnt believe him.A few threats of crashing his date with Callie and her parents later,and I knew who I was really meeting up with."he finished and his vibrant sea green eyes locked with yours.

"Oh..."was all you said.

"Why are you trying so hard?If you know I like you and why I was avoiding you,why do you keep following me around?"

You took a deep and frankly,very much needed breathe.This was basically it.His response would either make or break your heart.You knew he liked you but what if admitting it back would change his mind.

Hey,worth a shot,right?

"Because..."ugh why is this so difficult to say?"damn it,I like you thats why"you blurted out.

Percy stared at you in what could only be shock.Guessing that wasn't the response he was expecting,but when his shock turned to his swoon-worthy smirk,you knew it was still the answer he wanted.

"Are you messing with me,Princess?"he asked,raising his pierced eyebrow.

Princess?Yeah,we-re back to the old Percy.

"I think liking you is more of me messing with myself."you said but smiled,"But no.Im serious,Jackson"

Percy shook his head slowly while his smirk never left his face.He reached across the able and laced his fingers with yours,"I told you,you'd fall for me one day."

You laughed to yourself.He wasnt wrong and for once,you were kinda glad he was right.The cocky asshole across the table from you was the cause of every headache you had yet for whatever reason,he was also the cause of alot of your joy.

You pulled you hand away from his and crossed your arms over your chest.He gave you a slightly confused look.

"What?Im not yours yet.You owe me an apology for being an ass."you said with a smirk of your own.

He rolled his eyes,"Im sorry for being an asshole,Rich Bitch."he apologized.

"Eh.Itll do for now.But you still owe me."

"Owe you what exactly?"he asked,leaning his elbows against the table.

"A date."

You and Percy decided upon him taking you out after yoOlywork shift at Olympus.Your dad allowed you to work there as a part time lifeguard along with whoever you would end up chosing.

Your time with Percy at the café got cut short when you got a call from leo saying he,in his exact words,'may or may not have crashed into a fence.'So before the police got Leo for 'stealing' your car,you had to leave Percy and drive Leo's car to the police station.

That night,you were really tired and slightly pissed at Leo for not only crashing your car but telling Percy about the plan you two made.You laid on your bed,exhausted and yet happy.

You were dozing off when your phone lit up from a text.

'Percy wins again.Score:Per-ass 1,Rich Bitch 0'

You smiled at his text and made a quick reply before falling asleep.

'The game just began.I'll win,Jackson'
