Chapter 3

Vampire Princess

Bella's POV

I woke up in the same ballet studio I was in before the vampire, James sucked my blood out.

Not much had changed, I was laying on the floor, or at least half of my body was.

I took a deep breath, breathing air back into my lungs and finally I felt relax; I wondered what happened when I passed out... did James die? Ovbiously he did if he wasnt here...

"Bella?" I heard a voice whisper in my ear; arms tightened around me, pulling me towards their body.

My breathing came uneven and my heart sped up, nearly jumping out of my chest.

I knew exactly who it was, just by a single touch... his touch. His cold skin left tingles on mine, making it impossible to forget..... Edward's touch.

I threw my arms around him, practically inhaling his scent. "Edward." I whispered soft. I felt whole with him here.

I thought I was going to die, never to see or hear Edward again.... never to have him within my embrace. The thought scared me- terrified me to death! I couldn't live without Edward, if he was gone... I dont know what I would of done.

I looked up, staring into Edward's golden eyes. I could see sorrow in his eyes, but also happiness... love, excitement, suprise?

He chuckled when I raised my eyebrow.

"You seem..... happy?" It sounded more like a question then a statement.

He pulled me closer to him, right up against his marble chest.

I didn't notice the rest of the Cullen's standing around us, my mind was focused on Edward.

Everyone one of them looked down at us, smiling big, even Rosalie!

"Okay whats going on?" I was getting worried, scared.

Alice's face suddenly went serious, her eyes were wide, she was having a vision. Edward's head snapped towards her, while the rest of us stood still, listening to nothing.

Her vision ended, her face returned to normal and Edward looked down at me.

"What did she see?" I whispered in his ear, but I knew the everyone else could hear.

He stood up, still holding me in his arms. "We have to leave." He muttered to everyone. They all nodded and then disapeared out of sight, or at least my sight.

"Edw-." I was cut off by wind hitting my face, blowing my hair everywhere. It felt like I was flying... it was terrifing, just the same as last time. Edward was running.

I held onto him tightly with all my strength, I was definately freaking out. My heart thumped in my chest unevenly.

We'd been running for what seemed like forever, I was getting tired. I knew we were close to Forks though, I could get some sleep soon.

Edward slowed down to a walk. We were in the forest now, the wind was quiet, there was no sound, just my breathing and the sound of my heart.

"Bella?" He spoke in a normal tone, but something about the way he said it made my stomach twist into a knot.

"Yes?" I answered breathlessly.

He started to say something but paused, everything was silent. I listened to the sound of my heart beat to keep myself calm.

"Marry me Bella." He finally said.

My mind went blank, my vision went blurry for a quarter of a second. I couldnt speak, I couldnt move, just stood frozen. "M-marrage?" I choked out.
