"GRANDPA! NO GRANDPA DON'T DO IT! I'M COMING! NO FUNNY BUSINESS..." I, Teresa 10th grade student at North Chester High, yelled at the television.

"You're everyone's favorite." I began lowering my voice.

"You're a joke!" My best friend, Lenny also a 10th grade student at North Chester High, said while shoving me to the end of the couch. She leaned in closer and closer and even closer.

"You're too close... babe..." I moaned. As this happened she gave me a kiss on the cheek, which caused me to blush.

"Look, you're always calling me babe and all, but every time I ask you to be my girlfriend you deny it. You know you like me just say yes already." she told me in such a serious tone.

"Okay, okay," I began, "I do love you and all, but you need to chill on your gestures."

"Finally." She mumbled under her breath as she rolled her eyes.

I've liked her ever since 7th grade, but never had the guts to date her. I didn't know how dating a girl would be, but I guess I will now. I honestly thought that Lenny didn't like me real enough for me to date her that's why I always put her in denial. I can't wait to be her one and only. Prom is coming up too. Not just normal prom lgbt+ prom. Oh boy, hopefully we are chosen as Homecoming Queens.

After I snapped out of my thoughts, Lenny turned off the television, went down on one knee, pulled out a box, and opened it and said, "Will you promise me in being my wife when we officially grow up?"

At first I didn't know what to say, but my decision came to my head. I kneeled on one knee, closed the box and said, "no."
