"So Leah, what do you say?"Chase asks. I snap back into reality immediately.
"Wait, what?"I reply.
"Will you go out with me? He repeats. I look down at the gorgeous necklace in my hand. I hand it back to him," I'm sorry Chase, it's a no."
He lightly pushes my hand away, " Leah, please think about it. I really like yo..." He says before I cut him off.
"No you don't."
"What?"
"You don't like me, you don't like me at all."
"But Leah..."
"No! You've let Stacy bully and pick on me for so long, and you did nothing!"
"Leah.."
"Shut...up! You and Stacy have been jerks to me, and you expect me to go out with you because of a stupid golden necklace? Sorry, not sorry, it's a no!" I thrust the necklace into his chest and storm off. I look back and see him with a stunned look on his face.
Before you go asking why I was so harsh, that felt great! He deserved it, every word of it. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? I might actually sleep tonight, but probably not. Whatever, still felt great, but stupid Chase made me miss the bus.
