Wherever you are chapter 12

* knock knock knock *

" I'm going to the store Kassy I'll be back later tonight." I heard my mom say from outside the door.

" uh ya ok bye ma." I said tiredly.

I waited to here her footsteps walk away and then I looked at Luke asleep.

He looked so cute and peaceful..

I slowly tried to get off the bed without waking him but I stubbed my toe and screamed " Fuck!"

He shot up instantly and rubbed his eyes. " what what happened?"

" I stubbed my toe." I whined.

" poor baby." He whined back.

" jerk." I huffed smiling.

" take that back." He threatened.

" nope."

" take it back or else."

" or else what?"

" I'll have to tickle you."

I looked him straight in the eye and raised one eyebrow.

I tried to jump up but he grabbed me by the waist and starting tickling me.

Oh boy do I ever hate being tickled.

But he made it fun, not hurtful which was really weird.

I was screaming and laughing at the same time until I heard my mom walk in.

" sorry to interrupt your tickle session here but would you guys like to go out for dinner tonight to Applebee's? A girl at work gave me a gift card for there and thought it would be sweet. Just me you and Luke?" She asked.

I went to say no ( I mean wouldn't that be awkward? Me , him and my mother?!) but Luke had already answered.

" that sounds delightful mrs.Kelly. We'll have to get ready at once." He said nicely getting up.

She smiled and ran downstairs.

I moaned. " oh my goooood why'd you say yessssss."

" oh don't be such a Debbie downer or I'll have to tickle you." He teased. " have you got any hair gel?" He added.

" it's in the bathroom you loser." I said pointing to the hallway.

" that word is very popular from you today." He laughed.

Does this mean I have to get ready too? I thought.

" yes." I heard him say from the bathroom.

My eyes widened. I saw him smiling in the mirror. This kid really knew me.
