DCXU: Superman-Taking Flight

The Superman Ch. 3

{ONE MONTH AFTER SUPERMAN ARRIVED}

*This story begins with a video screen in a large dark room that only displays a recorded video of Superman flying out of the frozen waters of the Greenland shattering the ice while carrying a small group of fishermen, who seemingly fallen off of the ship by accident, to a nearby fishing town where he was met with a large crowd of citizens. Superman landed in front of a young man on his phone recording the entire situation as he and the crowd rush around Superman taking various photo's and asking him questions as he smiled and looked at the crowd and told everyone to take the soaking wet men to the nearest hospital before launching himself up into the air with a loud 'BOOM'.*

*Superman then flew towards the large ship that was continuing to sink into the icy waters below. Superman dove down using his fist to shatter the ice allowing him access as the ship completely sank into the waters below. Then sprouting from the freezing depths was Superman carrying the giant ship over his shoulders with both hands from underneath. The white-haired alien landed quickly onto the hard concrete of the nearby town placing the ship down before smiling and waving goodbye to the crowd before taking off into the clouds at high speeds as he was followed by a sonic boom.*

"Super Strength and apparent Flight. Faster than most jets we have."

*The video on the screen changes to another phone recording of Superman walking down a street towards a large bank as two men, one wearing an ogre mask and the other wearing the mask of Leather face, armed with and with backpacks leaking dollar bills onto the floor, opening fire on him to no avail as the bullets ricocheted off of him causing him to not even flinch before he stops and looks at the two glaring as his eyes release slim beams of red energy increasing the temperature of the metal in their guns causing the thieves to scream and release their guns in pain with smoke coming off of their burnt hands. Superman retracted the beams as beside them a blue Cadillac El Dorado drove up and came to a screeching halt as they tried to stop only for Superman to ram the hood of the car stopping it in it's tracks. He then walked around and pulled the men out of the car revealing them to be wearing identical masks and armed with guns as he sighed and turned to find the first two running away. Superman lowered his head and vanished grabbing the other two as he seemed to be a blur of red and blue. The video ended there as the voice from before continued.*
