☀️BIRTHRIGHT PART 2☀️
(YEARS LATER)
THE LOUD HOUSE
"Find anything over there Clyde?"
"Sorry dude. Nothing over here but weird toys and a strange book with your great grandma Harriet on the cover."
"Yeah, that was her spellbook. I would put that back btw, Lucy is almost attached to that as she is to Edwin."
*Clyde paused before slowly placing the book back into the trunk and swiftly locked it.*
"Can't believe it's this hard just to find some stupid baby book."
"It's called having 10 other kids, my dude. Maybe my Mom and Dad just lost track of it over time. Hold on, I think I found something."
*As the two friends scour the attic floor, Lincoln discovers a loose floorboard. With a raised eyebrow, Lincoln motions Clyde towards it and removes it revealing to the two Lincoln's baby book. A large orange binder with Lincoln's name written in black marker. The two friends nod and take the binder down only for Lincoln to stop Clyde halfway down the stairs.*
"Wait a second."
*Upon stopping Clyde, the duo hear Leni call out from downstairs alerting his nine other sisters.*
"Dad's home!"
*Instantly, the sea of his sisters rush out of their room's and make their way downstairs. With the moment given to the two friends, Lincoln grabbed Clyde and rushed the two into his room (That is if you could even call it that as it barely had enough room for more than two people at a time.) slamming it behind them.*
"Still have the book?"
*Clyde reveals to Lincoln the baby book which he held under his arm. Lincoln and Clyde smiled as he placed the book on Lincoln's bed, he then turned to his best friend who stared at the book.*
"So Linc. I gotta say, I love coming over but why did you call me over just to find a baby book? Like, normally it's just to watch cartoons and head out to Flip's but why a baby book?"
*Lincoln stared at his book and sighed before flopping back onto his bed while staring up at the ceiling.*
"Honestly dude. I don't know, I..."
*He paused and shook his head before jumping up and holding the book in hand. He continued but Clyde instantly heard the reluctance in his friend's new tone of voice and was then consumed with worry as his friend tried to dodge the question.*
"I don't know, I just was curious for a moment. It's just something I've always thought about every day."
*Clyde placed his hand upon Lincoln's shoulder and stared at his best friend with concern in his eyes which allowed Lincoln to slump his shoulders and relax before smiling.*
"Come on dude. I'm your best friend if something's bothering you just talk to me."
*With hesitance in his voice, Lincoln placed the book onto his lap and began to tell Clyde his secret.*
"Clyde, recently I've been having dreams. Weird dreams. Like, really weird dreams."
*Clyde's eyes widen before coughing and rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.*
"Oh um... I think this is something that you should talk to your parents about. I mean, my dad's couldn't even give me the talk without passing out twice so I don't think I'm..."
