Kal's P.O.V

I walked over the back table to see a dark brown wolf with blue features. He had been sitting there for a while. I shake his shoulder to get his attention, "excuse me sir, can i help you?" I ask as he looks up at me with a sad face that turns slightly into anger.

"I hope your happy" he growled out harshly.

"What?" I ask scrunching up my face not knowing what he hell he's on about.

"And i hope Gareth is happy as well" he continued to spit out with a slight crackle in his voice.

"Well i'm trying my best to make things right and to make sure Gareth alright, Ian" I say trying to create a scene in the diner.

"And i suppose he doesn't want me anymore, now does he?" He asked standing up from his seat and pushing past me.

"Why would he, you left him alone, scared, and on deaths door." I growled stopping him in his tracks.

At that moment Gareth walked in. His face dropped from joy to sadness. His face began to well, a face not suited for sadness. Ian walks past him stopping at the door before looking back at me with tears in his eyes. "Then i better go before i cause more damage then what is done" and with that he left.

I was torn i wanted to help him, but how could i? He left Gareth and he's doing it again. I took of my apron and throw it on counter before grabbing Gareth and leaving the diner. I held Gareth's hand walking him away from the diner before turning towards him.

Tears began to rolled down his face. I wipe them away from his face. He didn't know weather to be angry or sad. I decided just to pull him into a hug. I could feel him bury his face into my chest before sobbing.

I hold him for a while, i hold him trying to protect him from the world and the best i can do is hug him.

after he had settled down, i pulled away from him before looking him in the eyes and giving him a warm smile. I whipped his matted fur from his tears. "You alright?" He gave a nod and i hugged him again. "Come on, lets get you something to eat" i say grabbing his paw and leading us back into the diner.

We walked through the doors and there was a couple of mutters heard from around the diner. I ignored them as we made our way back to a table. "What would you like" i asked him as he sat down.

"A chocolate milkshake would be fine". I walked back behind the counter and got his order before bringing it back to him.

The diners phone rang. I went over to pick it up but Peterson had already pick it up. He turned towards me and his face drained of colour. He didn't say anything and just held out the phone to me.

I grabbed the phone from his hand and put it to my ear. "Hello?" I asked slightly concerned.
